Thank you for putting your trust in me, Ward 10. I don’t take this responsibility lightly, and none of us can do this alone.

Today’s the day! It’s time to vote. Do you know where you’ll be voting? Ward 10 residents can vote at any of the four locations in our Ward. If you need transportation help, my team can give you a ride. Just send me a message.

Last sign delivery before election day. If there’s anything I’ve learned from reaching 12,000 of my neighbours, it’s that you want urgency and action that you can see in your neighbourhoods. I ask that you trust me with your vote, and that you hold me accountable to this vision. Go vote!

In both community-led and Region-led consultations, #LandBack for an Indigenous Community Hub was identified as one of the top priorities that residents want to see at the former Charles St Transit Terminal. youtu.be/8p2vMB-O5S8 #kitchener #watreg #wrpoli

Yesterday, I attended the “Accessibility as Innovation” panel discussion hosted by the WR Small Business Centre. The discussion reinforced the need for inclusive decisionmaking that starts with the lived experiences of people with disabilities.

As our city grows by welcoming new neighbours into existing neighbourhoods, we must plan for new parks and public spaces. This physical infrastructure is the bridge necessary to build trust and civic participation. #kitchener #watreg #wrpoli

Thank you and merci to Cathy Kenne, Executive Director of Familles Afro FrancoFun. This organization provides much-needed spaces for afro-francophone newcomer youth to strengthen their language and culture while developing practical skills. #kitchener #watreg #wrpoli

As a long-time community organizer, I pride myself on collaborating effectively across groups that don’t typically work together. I’ll be an effective representative for Ward 10, translating city processes into meaningful action. #kitchener #watreg #wrpoli

Last call for lawn signs! I may or may not be delivering them by bike :) As we wrap up advance voting, we’re shifting our focus to election day on Monday October 26! Getting a window or lawn sign is a great way to show your support. Request a sign at samnabi.ca! #kitchener #watreg #wrpoli

We're celebrating another campaign milestone... we've reached 10,000 homes in Ward 10 over the course of this election! Wow! I want to give a huge thank you to my volunteer team. This is how we strengthen local democracy: by showing up and having one conversation at a time. #kitchener #watreg

My experience as an urban planner taught me how to welcome new neighbours while protecting mature trees, enhancing walkability, and making streets safer. I am a founding member of Waterloo Region ACORN and have successfully advocated for local policies to protect renters from displacement.

Thank you to Mike Schreiner, the leader of the Green Party of Ontario, for meeting with me to discuss our shared priorities around supporting local food and farmers in Waterloo Region. I support Schreiner’s Foodbelt bill, and I hope to work with our MPPs to collaborate further if elected.

Ben Gorodetsky’s Pinch Arts has contributed to much to this region’s cultural fabric. Many emerging artists have found their first paid gigs thanks to Ben. He understands world-class performance and how to fund it, and I’m grateful for all he has created to enrich our region. #Kitchener #WatReg

Did you know you can vote today? My team and I are out early this morning reminding supporters about Advance Polls, which are open all week in Ward 10! If you need assistance with transportation, please reach out and a member of my team will be happy to get you to the voting booth :)

It’s wonderful to see federal funding coming for residents who need to replace their home heating systems with cleaner heat pumps. As we transition from fossil fuels, this is the perfect opportunity for Kitchener Utilities to offer affordable rentals for heat pumps, solar panels and battery storage.

Thank you, Jon, for your support. I’ve long admired your integrity and your love for this city, using your platform as a space to spread positivity and bring people together. #BeKind #KitchenerANDWaterloo #WatReg

Today is World Mental Health Day. This year’s campaign calls for people with lived experience of mental health conditions to be meaningfully included. It will take all of us working together to improve mental health outcomes in our communities: by valuing each others’ lived experiences.

CycleWR’s survey results are here! I was a committee member helping create Kitchener’s Cycling and Trails master plan, and I support the investments our city has made in making all-season access for all ages and abilities. Visit cyclewr.ca to read detailed responses from me and other candidates.

I’m proud to be supported as a labour-friendly candidate by the WR Labour Council! As co-owner of Full Circle Foods, I choose to uphold a certified living wage. As a member of the Better Way Alliance, we commit to fair scheduling practices and paid sick leave.

Cait Glasson is a force to be reckoned with, having helped create the first Pride event in Kitchener in 1995. I’m grateful for her past and ongoing leadership in establishing safe gathering spaces within Waterloo Region for the queer community. Thank you for believing in me! #Kitchener #WatReg

I’ve received more than 15 questionnaires, and I’ve made the time to answer all of them. It’s important for candidates to be transparent about what they hope to bring to the table, and to share those responses publicly so that voters can hold us accountable. #kitchener #watreg #wrpoli

In Monday’s Record, Luisa D’Amato writes about the barriers candidates face in reaching our neighbours who live in apartment buildings. My campaign has been to every corner of Ward 10 and made a concerted effort to connect with voters no matter what kind of building they live in. #kitchener

Today is Truth and Reconciliation Day. This morning, I witnessed a sunrise ceremony led by Myeengun Henry. Here on Haldimand Treaty territory, I await the court case this fall that will examine how Canada and the Haudenosaunee should move forward given the history of broken promises in our region

I’m grateful to have the support of Leena Miller Cressman, owner of The Branches. Seeing how Leena and her team have created a small business rooted in community was an inspiration for Yulia and I as we brought Full Circle Foods into its next chapter on King Street. #Kitchener #WatReg #WRPoli

Aujourd’hui, j’ai parlé aux étudiants de 10e année dans la classe de civisme de Ms Andonoff à Kitchener-Waterloo Collegiate. Merci de me recueillir! Thank you to Ms Andonoff’s grade 10 French Immersion civics class for having me in today! #kitchener #watreg #wrpoli

Thank you to Amit Mehta, founder of Good Company Productions, for endorsing my campaign. Amit is a visionary who has created new and unconventional events, and raised the standard for live music production across this city, all while building a deeply skilled and passionate team. #Kitchener #WatReg

Troy Glover is someone who understands how community resilience and belonging get built. Working with him on One Million Neighbours, I learned how to think about creating inclusive communities that make room for all of us. Thank you for your endorsement, Troy. #Kitchener #WatReg #WRPoli

In the community over the past two weeks… No shortage of community events! I’m looking forward to seeing more of you out and about 😁

5 weeks to go! This is not a drill. I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the 30+ volunteers, 60+ donors, and 180 residents who requested a sign. Now is the time to act! We have a place for you on this campaign. #Kitchener #WatReg #WRPoli youtu.be/glsRM7fTemI

Isabel Cisterna is a trailblazer and has brought one-of-a-kind festivals to this community while lifting up emerging artists and celebrating multiculturalism. I’m honoured to have her support to represent Ward 10. #Kitchener #WatReg #WRPoli

Thank you for your endorsement, Yvonne! It means a lot to have the support of someone with your experience as a fierce supporter of your community and of our shared environment. #Kitchener #WatReg #WRPoli

I’m in excellent company for the Best of Waterloo Region shortlist 💕 Thank you to The Community Edition for making space to celebrate what makes this region a wonderful place. #Kitchener #WRPoli #WatReg

Imagine, a potential City of Kitchener councilor that leads with action and not rhetoric! I only wish Sam was running in Ward 7. 👍

As co-owner of Full Circle Foods, I work with local farmers and producers, helping neighbours to make local and zero-waste shopping decisions. Together, we’ve saved over 167,000 single use packages from the landfill. We can think global and act local in Kitchener to do our part for the planet.

At today’s Queen Margaret festival, it was a pleasure to connect with neighbours and participate in a leaf printing art workshop — thanks Michelle and Abby for showing me the ropes! #kitchener #watreg #wrpoli

Signs are going up all across Ward 10! Big thanks to the volunteers who are helping me distribute our first 100 signs today 😁 more on the way. A lawn or window sign is a great way to show support. Fun fact, the number of Sam Nabi signs in pollinator gardens is very high, something I love to see 🐝

I had a blast volunteering at the WR Labour Council’s Ed Weidinger Memorial Labour Day Picnic! Working the inflatable obstacle course brought me back to my high school days working as a lifeguard at the water park 😎 #kitchener #wrpoli #watreg

Summer’s not over yet, but let’s talk about snow. For me this is an accessibility issue, a climate change adaptation issue, and reveals how the city cares for seniors. If you want a “we deserve plowed sidewalks” sticker, let me know 😋 m.youtube.com/shorts/_mHWO... #watreg #kitchener #wrpoli

There are no shortcuts to an election campaign. We’re building momentum one conversation at a time, one door at a time, one neighbour at a time. As important as it is to connect online, the most effective way to volunteer for a candidate you support is to join them for door-knocking.

We are absolutely FLYING into September, so I want to take a moment to reflect on some of the incredible community conversations I’ve had this summer. Marlowe, Zazu Cafe, and the residents of 55 Duke St W — thank you for literally making space for us! #wrpoli #watreg #kitchener

Affordable artist studios are essential for Kitchener’s cultural fabric and growing our creative industries. The 44 Gaukel building requires significant capital repairs, and now is the time to start expanding our roster of affordable studios in City facilities. youtube.com/shorts/e3J6m... #wrpoli

Our next community conversation is this Saturday morning at Marlowe! Let’s talk local business: what are your favourite gems? What type of businesses would you like to see more of in your neighbourhood? How should we tackle the issue of vacant storefronts and offices downtown?

We’re definitely in the swing of summer street party season! We got the inaugural Live on Lydia St party. Last Shop On Earth’s alternative fashion market. Twas Now Brewery’s 3rd birthday tap takeover. And the 4th annual Betzner St Bash! What a day 😮‍💨 #kitchener #WatReg #WrPoli

Big smiles and great conversation this week in Mount Hope—Breithaupt Park. And yes, I went home with a new tomato plant from Lao Thai Supermarket ☀️ Door knocking is always better with friends. If you want to join the team just send me a message!
