The Book Bazaar: Coming October 29th, 2026

Me to my anxiety: "Hi. Pre rehearsing conversations we MIGHT need to have THREE WEEKS from now is not as helpful as you think it is. Can we please just make breakfast?"

It is "departure day" for my Stay-at-Home retreat. I'm re-setting my spaces, and preparing to return to a more regular schedule next week. Part of that is deciding some things to keep and carry forward. www.patreon.com/SandraTayler...

Yay! Thank you

This is true in a publishing landscape that has a blockbuster mindset. (IE: that profit comes from new releases rather than farming and growing backlist) The return on author visits is much different if the long view is planned for. Then the book tour plants valuable seeds.

This post is unavailable.

I'm watching some indie authors (and trying for myself to) build audience and connection in an long-term mindset. But it is very much swimming against the current.
