We're hearing you everyone on today's TBB Countdown question and that means a whole lot of non-US drop ship options are being opened up last minute before launch!

AI use! But that's a given haha. It's something that's way overpriced, or underbaked. I hate when I look into the project and come away not really understanding what it even is. Or if it seems like the creator hasn't even realized much of it, if at all.

#TBBCountdown When stuff is vague, there isn't a lot of updates, and maybe there's AI in use. Even now, sometimes a bad set up. I can be very forgiving if the set up isn't super great if they're a first timer and stuff, but now that I've done it, weeeell, I'm judgy now.

It's a) not having sorted out EU VAT/shipping, leaving all sorts of extra (hidden) cost. B) not doing shipping to EU at all.

For bookish one, no simple ebook option. It happens less and less, but I used to run into US-based crowdfunds that only offered physical and omgg, let me support you creating the book and get it in a format I prefer that ALSO saves me shipping Also skip if the ebook is a PDF only.

What puts me off the most are campaigns with expensive options (like the book is £50 and then the shipping is another £50) when I'd like to support with a cheaper tier.

When things are really, really expensive at the lowest tier. Sometimes I can't justify the cost, even if I want the product.

Oh yeeeeeah! #TBBCountdown time! I've backed several things and honestly, I like updates. Some campaigns are really, really good about updates! But some are...not. Sometimes just a "Hey, we're working and we're alive still." Is good.

This is so helpful to me as a crowdfunding newbie. My biggest takeaway was "Update regularly." I am determined to do this right for all my backers, readers, and friends. Word counts, editing passes, and cover art as it comes in. My plan is to update backers on all progress. #BookBazaar26.

Make it easy!!! Send a pdf or an epub! Do not make me make an account somewhere else. If there's an issue with mailing to Canada, don't ask me to talk to kickstarter, work something out with me so we can mail it somewhere in the states or something! (This is a real problem i'm having)

i want them to literally just do their thing and be themselves about it. that's the whole point i'm backing a crowdfunder as opposed to buying something already available from a brand(tm).

#TBBCountdown as others have said, I wish more creators would give updates on where my items are. I've backed several projects that have 0 updates from, like, a year or two ago. SMDH.
