Leaving the Python Core Dev Sprint feeling so energized. It’s this crew that has me coming back to the project time and time again. I love Python, Python is forever!

The macOS built-in curl, git, pip, python3, perl, ruby, and openssl all read /etc/ssl/cert.pem, which still has the emSign root, but they don't check revocation like Apple's Secure Transport libraries. This is, uh, a problem. git and pip especially. I added a short-term workaround to this page.

🚨 Six WebPKI Intermediate CAs are compromised. This is bigger than Heartbleed, but a client-side issue. Anything that verifies certificates against public roots, like most TLS clients, is/was affected. Details, live test, patched versions and workarounds at emudhra.we-have-a-problem.com Act now.

Fresh from New York Comic-Con, the trailer for The Exorcist: Martyrs has been unveiled, and horror fans surely have a lot of questions. Fortunately, FANGORIA got to ask director Mike Flanagan a few of our own questions ahead of the trailer's release, and you can read our full interview below, after…

mike flanagan doing the next installment in the exorcist franchise is an absolute s-tier decision. saw the trailer tonight at an early screening for other mommy and i'm so hype.

grateful for what exists in open source but also rolling finops for a platform is a whole different beast. lots of business logic that makes everything kinda bespoke. you like the deep end? you like sorta unglamourous but necessary work? you like infra? do finops.

my husband just interrupted putting dishes away because he wanted to show me something called a “jj megamerge”. i’m scared i’m losing my husband to jj.

Today marks 10 years in the United States for me! When I moved here, the plan was to stay for a year or two and then return to Canada. Somehow, 1 year turned into 5, and 5 turned into 10. There’s a lot happening in this country these days, but I love where I live & am proud to be a Washingtonian.

Remember that time where I said to not fly if you’re congested? Well, I was once again in a position where I had to fly congested. I would like to take this time to remind everyone that it is so incredibly unfun. Like seering, icepick pain to your head unfun. Do not do it.

I would say that 80%+ of the places we looked at were flipped like this, across price ranges. you want a house older than 1980? buckle up, seattle eastside. it's a bumpy ride.

and just to be abundantly clear: this is not my home! I just have a general notification set for listings in the seattle area that are in this age range.

sorry but he has the biggest of big loser energies. for the love of god, please spend your time doing literally one good thing for this country. i dare you.
