I shared what I perceive as the difference in scones and biscuits in a reply, but figured I'd share it here. Scones include sugar. US biscuits typically do not. Scones also often use cream and egg, whereas a US biscuit almost always uses buttermilk which reacts with the baking soda to create lift.

... it was prepared, he doesnt want to eat it. He has to trust restaurants pretty well. A major ick/phobia/nightmare scenario would be being told there was an ingredient in the food he just ate that he hadn't consented to eating. 🤢🤮 Ive mentioned Charlie's phobias of dogs and riding in cars before

... and Im pretty sure I talked about her fears of being gaslit and manipulated. Also aside from something bad happening to her family, Steady hates dark windows. She doesn't like being alone anyways, but especially gets nervous about mirrors at night and windows out into the dark when she's alone.

My other attempts at found family are the choirs of guardians at the chapel in the fantasy. The gargoyles, grotesques, and busses work together as an army and as a family. They even call each other sister or brother (partly like monks/nuns, but more like family.)

In TugboatWIP, Steady's quad team (her closest colleagues) has a family feel, as they really look out for each other and care for each other.

... and that they are bonded by a friendship that goes harder than whatever romantic feelings they may dance around is one version of found family in my work. They are ride or die besties and count each other as family long, long before they ever untangle any romantic inclinations.

Steady is Shoot the Moon... where you balance a ball on two sticks and roll it back and forth with gravity till you can get it to drop in the highest scoring hole. It gets more difficult the closer the ball gets to you.

Ok, this one's on me, but I was expecting a spiced cider. What it ACTUALLY is, is a cider with actual pumpkin flavor added. Like the actual gourd. Not the warm spice. No spices involved here. It's an odd flavor and feels like it was conceived by AI in the way it misses the cultural context.

All Ive got for #AwesomeCharacters that you havent seen yet is a piccrew of Steady Richter. She looks slimmer and younger here than she is in my head, and she isnt usually so smiley, but it is best Ive got.
