have now completed every bungie halo game on legendary alone. 3 and onward are quite easy, 2 is such bullshit that i actually kind of like it, and 1 basically becomes a survival horror game lmao

while star wars galactic racer does look pretty promising and i will definitely be picking it up, I still think it's in poor taste to allow baby yoda to be ejected from his car seat during a race

spending $1k a day to force a datacenter to roleplay as a teenage girl that doesn't know how to drive so that gamers can explain it is the most 2026 thing i could possibly imagine

The developer behind Teach My Little Sister How to Drive, a driving generative AI-powered instruction sim, has been spending $1000 a day to keep the demo running, and now, they've had to take out a bank loan to keep up. https://bit.ly/4rWqe8g

wild how we made the goop pods from the matrix where you live in a fictional hallucination of reality for machines to feed off your very essence and the redpill crowd seemingly cannot climb in fast enough

"super intelligence" so smart it can tell you in extensive detail why the thing it just told you with complete certainty was false and all it costs is everything we've ever built. anyways thanks for coming to my 2am crashout, back to work on compound fracture!

RE: the Unity GenAI bullsh*t. For an engine that has easily allowed us to do so much of our game DIY with a completely in-house render pipeline and tons of in-house editor tools, it's insanely frustrating to see Unity pushing things so hard in the exact opposite direction.

I've used Unity since version 2 in 2008/2009. I saved up money after high school to get an educational license of Unity Pro for $750 back when it was needed for post-processing and real-time shadows. The engine is unmatched for me and I hate seeing it die at the hands of such a foolish company.

Also yeah I'd like to go on record and say fuck GenAI. Fuck the companies that have made billions developing automated plagiarism machines and fuck anyone defending it. They don't make tools, they use the Earth's resources to shove human culture into a perpetually self-feeding meat grinder.

I don't think I've ever wishlisted a game this fast

Pave Paradise, and put up Car Parks soon!! 🚨 Car Park Capital launches into Early Access on October 9! store.steampowered.com/app/3031880/... Watch the brand new trailer, share it with friends, and wishlist! Big thank you for all the support over the years! 🙏

It's genuinely shocking how technical the guitar gets at times for a metal song in a video game. There's so many fun changeups in the arrangement too. Can't believe after ninja gaiden black they're gonna get me to come crawling back to my funeral just because of this OST 😞

Forgot to mention that this is out an all streaming platforms, for those who are interested.

Last month I mentioned having to get an operation to have an Odontogenic Myxoma removed. In the anxious and at times manic months leading up to said operation I wrote/recorded this instrumental metal album that I am now releasing for free. Enjoy! youtu.be/EUib__g9Sd0

agefield has a lot wrong with it but i love that it's all about this whole rock the school thing and the protag owns what appears to be a gibson custom shop guitar (expensive) judging by the inlays in like a 2010s gamer headset color scheme. even the damn tuners, strings, and bridge are red lmao

if you struggle with imposter syndrome just know that I've been making games for 18 years, most of which using Visual Studio for code, and didn't know until a few months ago that VS has a back button (I was just manually scrolling back to wherever I previously was)
