I am neither a theologian nor a perfect person by any means, but Trump's malignant narcissism—a morally and psychologically toxic mixture of egomania, remorselessness, mendacity, greed, sadism, spite, and vengefulness—strikes me as the dialectical opposite of what Christianity teaches people to be.

Trump just posted a letter from Franklin Graham assuring him that says "you commented to the media that you might not be heaven bound. Maybe you responded in jest, but it is an important issue to know for certain that your soul is secure and will spend eternity in the presence of God."

Dire Strait Trump's Iran blunder is one of sultans, of swing states, and of buying drones from brothers in arms Eric and Don Jr. With the world in need of heavy fuel, he wants NATO nations from so far away to send troops and money for nothing more than a return to normal. by Maureen Dowd

I can't even find the words to express how repugnant and despicable this post is. People who spew such Islamophobic bile don't belong in the United States Congress. The job of elected officials is to combat hate, not fan its flames. (1/2)

President Trump said in an interview with The New York Times that he regretted not ordering the National Guard to seize voting machines in swing states after his 2020 election loss. Trump has long pushed the false claim that the machines had been rigged against him.

One thing that is clear from these headlines is that the big news orgs don't have a vocabulary or strategy for how to report to readers when the President claims to do something he not only lacks authority to do but even the power to do. That's a very basic, foundational thing.

After Donald Trump brings back TikTok, which he and Republicans banned, he is going to ban and bring back McDonald’s, Diet Coke, Chick-fil-A, Bud Light, Keurig machines, Nike sneakers, Starbucks, Oreos, Disney movies, and maybe even the Bible – just to make his base cheer for him twice as hard.

I like Peyton Manning a lot more as a pitchman than as a player. Yet, I liked Tom Brady a lot more as a player than I do as a pitchman. How do I reconcile this? #NFL #Patriots #Colts #Nationwide.
