Also, they often price in shipping costs that are supposed to be free. I use Amazon to search product ideas, then I can usually find the thing cheaper from another site, or direct from the manufacturer. Fuck Amazon.
"Amazon deploys deceptive tactics to exaggerate its markdowns and create a false sense of urgency. These ICE raids are nothing more than abductions. We aren’t told where they go, what they’re doing to them, if they’re being humanely treated (we’ve been told they aren’t feeding them or giving them enough water). The U.S. government is abducting people and torturing them at the taxpayer’s dime.
@govofco.bsky.social Hey Gov'ner... this is a ridiculous waste of taxpayer money. You need to drop this pet project of yours. Have you even considered the amount of money it will take to continually wash off all the anti-bridge graffiti that will inevitably be scribbled on it? 😄

This is the root of all the evils. We desperately need to take the money out of politics. It's the only way to actually "drain the swamp."
THE most important political issue facing us now is our corrupt campaign finance system & Citizens United. As long as Musk, AIPAC & crypto money can buy politicians, we’re not living in a democracy. We must end billionaire control of our politics and publicly fund elections.
