Reading the earliest chapter 5 ideas when I made it up in like 2016

From Toby: 10 years ago I made a song that sounded like this. It's called "The Sunset of 7 Suns." This is the hope for Chapter 5 from 10 years ago.

Kikky is my cat and I put an accurate simulator of her into my game if you can find it

I bought her the same cheap toy like 8 times and every time she instantly loses it and then starts yelling because she doesn't know where it is. Makes me wonder if she would have been happier if she never knew that Toy existed in the first place...

A character in the game called "Shi" dislikes "Kikky". That is because "Shi" doesn't like vermin. (Maybe thinks Kikky is a bacterium) Also, for in-game setting purposes, "Kikky" could be thought of as just the cats from the Mike minigames (the Mikes must take care of them when not in use) (?)

Each level also has 3 optional gems to collect. The blue gem is similar to strawberries in Celeste. The red gem is available after beating the level and getting the blue gem, and often changes the level in some way to make it harder. The gold gem is for beating a time trial goal.

I’m thinking the final game will end up somewhere around 300 levels

jumper is up to 100 levels! wheeee 🥳 (and i even deleted 5 old levels i didn't like on monday!)

These guys are called FLORADINN. You can think of them like the “Rudinn” of Chapter 5. Their favorite thing is FLOWERS. They usually don’t get what’s going on, but they are chill and don’t care. I like these guys.

re: Jumper vs Celeste, the physics have a lot more momentum and the jump height is a lot higher. It feels very different. This is making me more excited to finish it and show people!
