Mike Minogue’s trying to do the same thing in Massachusetts with flyers highlighting Andrea James as a real socialist threat being suppressed by Maura Healey.

1. A group formed last week called “Progressive Alliance of Wisconsin” is attacking David Crowley, the state’s Democratic nominee for governor, with hundreds of thousands in attack mailers. A Popular Information investigation has linked the effort to GOP operatives.

News organizations covering the story of Ilhan Omar could choose to accurately describe the administration's actions against her as a combination of political persecution and ethnic cleansing. They won't, but they could, and it would be both accurate and fair.

I dug into EIA data and found a growing divide between electricity prices at investor-owned utilities and public power providers. Then @michellema.bsky.social and I visited two towns that show what that divide means for customers on the ground. Read our story here! www.bloomberg.com/graphics/202...

Can we get Timothy Simons to read this post, pretty please?

Trump: “…everyone will be enjoying an EXTRA HOUR OF DAYLIGHT. In other words, leave it as it is now, and never change it again. But importantly, with a 100% approval rating, is that NOBODY wants to change their Clocks twice a year.”

This is the most Worcester of Worcester posts I have ever read. Teams of comedy writers will be studying this masterpiece to perfectly capture the tone of an aggrieved boomer NIMBY mad at… …New Stop Signs.

Friends. Today was a great day in terms of playing soccer, giving a kicking lesson, and doing a campaign event with Robert Garcia, but I have to tell you the cherry on top was seeing this Republican text ad whimpering about our campaign’s efforts to shine a light on my extremist opponent.

I’m late to this, but here we go: I could be talked into replacing Succession & Fleabag with Chernobyl or Schitt’s Creek. If we are doing reality shows, No Reservations & Repair Shop. I didn’t include incomplete shows, but Slow Horses could make it assuming they don’t pull a Lost or GOT.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Nelson Place neighborhood not beating the allegations, again. www.worcestersucks.email/p/wps-in-bri...

15 years ago Worcester Little Leagues updated boundaries because the old boundaries were based off the 1950 census. The highest pushback came from Schwartz LL at Kendrick Field. The more things change, the more things stay the same, Worcester edition: www.worcestersucks.email/p/wps-in-bri...

I’ve always believed the problem of inequality and segregation could be better served by framing it as a resource allocation issue and not moving pupils around. People are territorial, and that will never change, sadly.

Our family had been thinking about our future schools, and this piece was timely while also simultaneously being devastating and inspiring. School integration has existed in the US for a brief period of time, yet the same inequalities exist- no matter what the new trends and theories are.

In Massachusetts, we have a responsibility to protect the vulnerable and stand up for those who need it. We don’t throw trans kids under the bus for political points. We protect them—and all of our neighbors—because trans rights are human rights.

Unsurprisingly, the biggest opponents in preserving the status quo were in D1 & D5, mostly at the expense of leagues in D4 & D2. (D3 leagues had a few turf wars that were more about personality clashes than “preserving” a league).

Tom still thinks the best way to fight fascism is by punching left and defaulting to the center right. Don’t be like Tom.

Tom Nichols@radiofreetom.bsky.social

I hate to tell you this, but you're not MLK and trans issues are not the civil rights movement. You can stop fascism, or you can showcase your virtue. I prefer to stop fascism.

One you might find surprising. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt & members of her team have been extremely helpful in responding to questions I raise. Regardless of public facing commentary, privately they are willing to engage and address questions. And I have appreciated that. Thank you

I had an ER doctor tell me in a very offended fashion, like I had just wasted his time: “You don’t have a concussion, probably because you have the thickest, largest cranium I have ever seen on a human being.”

Heather Hill@rollin-academic.bsky.social

A question from Reddit that I'll answer here: "What's the most unhinged thing a doctor has said to you with a straight face?"

We need someone to do a How This Was Made style interview with everyone involved- the coaches, cheerleaders, faculty, audience, school administrators, the janitors who had to stay late for weeks ahead of this performance to set up all the mats and witnessed the first rehearsals… Everyone!
