A three game ban for what Dowman did is a joke. There is a fundamental problem in the English game with not punishing actual violent challenges and over-punishing petulant reactions to violent challenges.

Meslier so such a shit keeper. No idea why we signed him. One of those tonight. Hopefully it refocuses them. They deserve to be embarrassed by that.

That's an absolutely absurd decision from the referee. That's a horrid, scissors challenge on him. And Dowman basically shoves the dude as he's wrapped around his ankles.

Unai Simon. What a joke. He didn’t do anything. Raya should be the Spanish number 1 anyway. These awards have always been a joke. Why am I watching this.

The 4th official annoyed me from minute 1 today. Like, it was really annoying me! Don’t blame Arteta for having a go after. The 4th official was a disgrace with an agenda. I don’t mind if they are consistent but the ref and officials today were utterly bizarre. Away teams get home calls here.

I took this earlier because the 4th official has been on Arteta since minute 1 and meanwhile Moyes has been out of his area the entire time.

Saka came back from the World Cup too early, played too many games & then played 3 games in 7 days for England. This was in the post. He shouldn’t have touched grass until Leeds at home. Gutted for him

This season in the Premier League, there have been 41 games that have ended 11v11 where one side had more than 55% possession. The teams with >55% possession have only won 12 of those 41, they average 1.17 points per game from those matches. And 9 of those 12 wins were one of Arsenal/Man City.

A PL exclusive sanction that guarantees relegation means the league becomes a farce. Not only will allow them to pick & choose what games they fancy in the PL, it also gives them a competitive advantage in a UEFA competition whose rules are actually part of the PL rules they’ve broken 🙃

What I am most curious about is how any punishment for this case either demands or obviates the need for investigations into 2018-present. If you're not nuking them from orbit, you kind of have to do this process again to reveal the extent of their cheating since the period of the charges

Fair play to Noni he always plays with intent. He doesn’t always know what that intention is, but he’s made a big difference today.

Eze and Cala left does not work. They like to occupy the same positions. We are so tentative though and have been for some time. It’s like we look at the good ball and go “oooh risky, better go back”. So annoying.

Calafiori picking up great spaces and we keep ignoring him. That’s how you break the game open guys. Quick ball into tight spaces.

The women’s domestic season is already over. Not ideal for October. We have let a bit of a golden generation down on the domestic front. Underachieved. I always felt that in recent years we have accumulated too many good players who then left. You need a bit of a core to grind out league results.

Our finishing has been poor for some time. In games where you don’t get many chances, you have to create a point of difference by being clinical.

I’ve said this before but either Wrighty or Dennis needs to get on the blower to Bukayo and tell him about lobs. More space behind than either side lads. #stillnessandspeed

Shout out to the Leeds fan who grabbed some YouTuber’s microphone outside the Armoury, said something unintelligible about us being “cheats” and then called me a “deckhead” for laughing at how pathetic he was.

Annoying half. Ref blind to their fouls. Thought that was a pen on Saka. Kai and Noni constantly offside for no good reason. No movement from the top 5. We aren’t getting the ball forward quick enough. Martin looks knackered again after 3x 90 for Norway

Glad to see the implosion of the Greens. When any party welcomes in those who may share some common ground but who have an ulterior motive, that party fails. Just ask Jeremy Corbyn. Nobody likes an antisemite.

Not proud of it, but I once got creative and registered a team of 20-year-olds in a U10s tournament. Other coaches kept saying things like "you can't use them" and "they have beards" and "I think that's Myles Lewis-Skelly." But whatever happened behind the scenes, the game is won on the pitch.
