My place received a disappointing 0.04" of rain last night as severe storms passed by us in all directions or died on our doorstep. We did get some strong southerly wind gusts, but not more than 40 mph. KC North just south of Gladstone.

Quite the rain event in Kansas City last night. I recorded only 4.23 inches about 5 miles north of downtown, but other reports in KC Metro exceeded 8 inches!
