A new WP constructs the 1st continuous long-run series of top wealth concentration for South Korea, using estate tax tabulations & the mortality multiplier method. It documents two distinct regimes: low, stable concentration from 1970-1990, followed by an abrupt rise in the late '90s. bit.ly/4wzv5gL
