I’ve watched the video multiple times. An American citizen was murdered in cold blood by ICE agents because Donald Trump has empowered them to act with impunity. This is a nightmare. This crime must immediately be investigated and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

The fundamental choice has not been as stark since World War II: democracy and freedom, or dictatorship and tyranny. Trump and his sycophants are siding with the latter. The rest of us must loudly, proudly, and boldly proclaim our allegiance to the former.

AOC: This has now become what we feared most about ICE for a long time—that it would be used as an anti-civilian force with no accountability. At the end of the day, what we saw today was a murder, and murders in cold blood need to be prosecuted.
