My very first time watching Manhunter and automatically recognising the first piece of music used was a piece from Kitaro’s score from Queen Millennia absolutely blew my mind.

The beginning and the end of Castlevania 1. It’s crazy that it’s been 40 years but this game is incredible. I still consider it the first great 3rd party game on the NES. Play it now!

My next game is gonna be Final Fantasy X which I haven’t played since it was released. Was hoping the Switch 2 release would get the option for JP audio as I can’t stand that dub at all.

Recently finished a 100% playthrough of Ocarina of Time which I fully enjoyed. I’ve only ever played the 3DS release so it felt good to play the original.

I love my bikini bottom buddy that’s hanging on my bag 😙

One of my fave SG1 eps is called Upgrades, where 3 of the team receive armbands that give them extra strength, mental abilities (and appetite), but of course it gets out of control ;D

Went to watch the new Shaun the Sheep film which made me laugh quite a bit. Seeing a Wombles Easter egg wasn’t expected and I’m all for it.

As a kid, my fave side mission in Link’s Awakening was the ghost following you who wanted to see its old house, only to feel sad and ask to be taken to its grave. It’s so bittersweet! ❤️

Samus & Kirby

Finished off my playthrough of Mario Galaxy 2 and I couldn’t help myself and had to play Mario Odyssey again.

Toying with the idea of replaying Ocarina of Time before the remake is released. Anyone else thinking of doing the same? 👀

ghost in the shell / psx exact, 1997

Perhaps I’ll have Diablo 3 and 4 finished by 2029.

Torneko coming back to modern platforms gives me an excuse to post the all-timer U.S. box art for the original. Look at that fucking Slime.

We stay hungry, we devour

I always love the NPCs in Zelda games, and the new Ocarina of Time remake trailer from the week showed a great guy strutting round town! Can’t wait to play :)

Mystery Men - re:Visit

Star Fox Adventures looks really nice in widescreen mode.

Shenmue (Dreamcast, 1999)

Yes yes we’re all very excited for Ocarina of Time, but I’m still on my replay through of Link’s Awakening ;D Such a charming game!

Over the long weekend, I posted a new part to Mario 101, with a lot more weird Super Mario history, Discussed: Bowsette, Peach's missing dad, Bowser's dead wife, and the infamous field horsehair plants mention in the original instruction manual.
