Letting my inner merch freak out for a second, but I'm a bit surprised Marvel hasn't made more of an effort to put out a TON of New Avengers merch since the movie came out. The group are government sanctioned, funded, and marketed, and all we have is the title card movie shirt. Seems like a missed-

opportunity to go all in on the new team. Maybe after Doomsday and Secret Wars there will be more? I don't know, but I'd really like to have official New Avengers merch, cause they're literally the only characters I'm invested in 😂

Really happy with the way Lanterns wrapped up its season finale. I think the series as a whole is absolutely phenomenal. I cannot get over how perfect Aaron Pierre and Kyle Chandler were as John and Hal individually, and how masterfully they paired on-screen. There are some threads I want revisited-

in a season 2 though, specifically with a line that Sinestro had in the finale toward Halogram. I feel like that could be a good pickup point for season 2, if it happens, and if there's more to do with Kyle as Hal (which there definitely is, as satisfying as the end of this season was)

I watched Thunderbolts with my besties earlier, their first time and my like... 10th time lol. I can't say enough how important of a film it is to me. I love the themes, I love the character dynamics, I ADORE the music. It's excellent. A top 3 Marvel film in my book. Tears every time 🥹

Seeing the New Level wrestling on Dynamite is so surreal. If there were any two guys I figured would be "lifers" of sorts until their careers ended, Creed and Kofi would have been my guess. But I'm so happy to be so wrong, and that trios match with the Rascalz is a good reason why #AEWDynamite

I really want AEW to do a tag team tournament similar to the Dusty Classic or the World Tag League with the same prestige as the C2/Cup. An embarrassment of riches for the best tag team division, for real

I missed the first half of All In cause I was sleepin', but catching up now. I can't describe enough how giddy and happy I am that New Level are in AEW. Those guys rock so much, and I'm so happy to see them not only in AEW, but starting off strong. So awesome #AEWAllIn

I haven't been keeping up too much with the Halo expanded universe, aside from the occasional waypoint lore drop, but the idea of a new Noble Team with a bunch of previously established characters and a new one is pretty hype. The cover mirroring the Reach cover art is so sick as well. Love it

I'm so happy that after 12 years we're getting a new Alpha Bravo figure. The character and I have a lot of history, I made him the *leader* of the Autobots in my original Transformers stop motion series. I don't think many people can say they did that 😅

The full trailer from Star Wars: Zero Company has me very excited. To be fair, if you show me a game that has a Super Tactical Droid and Anakin with his mid-S3 to S6 look from TCW, I'm in. Lore me up, Zero Company!

For whatever reason I'm thinking about Thunderbolts a lot again, and I still can't get over how much I loved the film. It hit pretty much every note I didn't even know I wanted it to hit, and it did it spectacularly. In hindsight, definitely not the novelty speaking!

Just saw Thunderbolts*, absolutely blown away. Great, great film that tackles some pretty heavy topics, which I haven't seen executed in Marvel as well since Moon Knight. What a film, what a cast, the score was outstanding, highly recommend! 9.5/10 for me (I don't THINK this is novelty speaking).

Also I have no clue what the MCU's plans are for this set of Avengers films and beyond, nor do I necessarily care right now (hopefully I'm convinced otherwise come Doomsday) but whatever it is I want the New Avengers to be a substantial part of it. I love these goobers and their dynamics.

Just finished Spider-Noir, and I cannot get over how much I love this show. Nic Cage is doing his thing, the supporting cast all knocked it out of the park, the cinematography was phenomenal, the setting of a depression-era NY was spot on for the good and the bad, it had it all. Amazing season!

The only thing I wish there was more of was Nic Cage as the Spider. Every action scene or movement scene had me so invested in how it all functioned and looked. I really hope there's more of this on the horizon, everyone killed it

Just saw Mando and Grogu, and man did I love my time with it. A lot of the criticisms I saw were it being "too safe" or "low stakes" and while I do understand that sentiment, it didn't affect my viewing whatsoever. I'm a lorehead who grew up on Clone Wars, so seeing jangling keys works for me

Also... the cameos from directors and A CERTAIN CONCEPT ARTIST WHO I ADORE??? I did some big time DiCaprio finger pointing for those moments lol. I'm also so happy that the performance actors for Mando got top billing. That's classy af and so deserved for dudes who kill it every time they're on set

I really loved my time with this movie, and only one part where I was like "Okay this is kinda dragging just a little" but otherwise I was locked in loving every moment. So so happy to have Star Wars back on the big screen, and so excited for Starfighter next year!

I loved seeing Nal Hutta in live action, Embo, all kinds of ships and creatures I recognized from other media, like the Hutt fighters, that trash ship Savage hijacked in Clone Wars, there was so much familiarity for me to love that was from outside the nine main films

When I was fresh out of college, I had no connections and nothing but a dream. I co-wrote an indie animated spec. Somehow, we got it to Tom. He voiced our main character for free. “Putting good into the world has a habit of coming back around,” he said. RIP Tom Kane. Thank you, truly.

Extremely gutted to hear about the passing of Tom Kane. Truly a defining voice for so many for such a long time. His time voicing practically every episode intro of the Clone Wars (and by extension Yularen and Yoda) was always so captivating. It's a voice I tried time after time to mimic.

It was a tragedy when he lost his ability to speak, and doubly so to know he's no longer with us. A voice actor I had the utmost respect and love for, and will always cherish his performances.

Much to probably no one's surprise, ROH Supercard of Honor was a killer show. Awesome matches top to bottom and pretty well paced at that. Athena is the GOAT. Gonna miss her previous theme, that was a banger song even if the lyrics are mythologically inaccurate
