The atrocious, boring AF new Skydance logo, that reminds me of the one at the head of a C grade movie in the eighties. Those little icons below are going to be culled by CPAs with chain$aws shortly.

Today I learned: MEEP is allowed as a word in Scrabble™. After watching Coyote vs. Acme,I had to try putting it down on the board. Computer says yes.

"More than 500 stars, showrunners and TV lovers voted on their favorite shows of this century. Here are the results of our poll." Some mediocre choices here, and an almost complete lack of a few superior European shows. I'm proud to have helped make 35 episodes of the #2 show on the poll. #thewire

Chip-maker Nvidia’s founder and chief executive Jensen Huang responded to calls from Anthropic’s Dario Amodei and OpenAI’s Sam Altman for a slowdown and other controlling steps by saying AI companies should “run as fast as you can”.

TBT: What is one scene in a tv show that you watched as a young'un, that will forever live rent-free in your head? I'll start: Audrey Horne in Twin Peaks making a knot in a cherry stem with her tongue.

Trending on the socials, make your favorite film sound as boring as possible without giving away the title. My faves, so far: 1. On a cargo-hauler traveling in deep space, a rules-minded warrant officer struggles with co-workers, corporate shenanigans, and a pest problem.

One other thing about Furious; lots of shows have that one performance where you're like "This person just steals the show whenever they're on screen." This series has like five of those

Pedro Pascal, in recent years, got the nickname "Internet Daddy" after his role in The Last of Us where he seems like a genuinely good guy — and a genuinely good “daddy.” Plus he's hot. Well, to me the OG "Internet Daddy" for years has been Kyle Chandler.

Today a lovely colo(u)r I didn't know about: peacock green. "Strapless peacock green party dress - Fred Perlberg, ca.1950's Featuring a pleated neckline, draped full skirt gathering at the side and a rhinestone brooch."

They're *so* much worse than I thought, wow.

Americans have a high tolerance for scandal-plagued candidates. Especially Trump’s MAGA base, our new poll found. Two-thirds of self-identified MAGA Trump voters say they would continue supporting a GOP candidate accused of sexual assault. 🔗 politi.co/4g0TeHs
