Print film media. It's lonely, but it's worth it.

Fancy a 168 page print film magazine, on really nice paper, jam-packed with stories, and shining the light on films that don't have superhero capes in them? Our latest issue is on sale here. We're 100% independent, and every sale helps us. buff.ly/iAx9LJg

Terrified me. When XXX steps out of the XXX at the end of the film.

This is probably the best ad I've seen against using generative AI: Mayer, who was an engineer at Google and a chief executive of Yahoo, has rotted her brain so much she can no longer classify her daughter as "empathetic, creative and an animal lover". The slide of competence is incredible.

Sweeney tries to make out he's saying this in defence of the beleaguered indie devs who want to use AI, but remember that his company laid off 1000 people earlier this year before pivoting to AI. He's taking this stance for one reason: he loves money

Was just about to order a game from Simply Games. Then they send me a promo email clearly designed in Chat GPT or some other AI shit machine. They can afford to pay a designer. They didn't.

Today I edited everyone from a first-time comedy writer doing her first ever (bloody brilliant) piece to a BAFTA-winning comedy writer & that’s what I love the most about this website & the opportunities it creates.

I've got two mail accounts now that are borderline unusable because they've presumably popped up in Claude or something, and are now being swamped with crap. Sigh.

A big day for my Birmingham City book. It's finally overtaken the Tottenham Hotspur Trivia Book in the Amazon charts. Goals. https://link.amazon/B00ONGo4q

My stock reaction when someone messages me on LinkedIn trying to sell me AI shit is to immediately remove the connection. Recommend you try it.

Er... "Hi [First Name], I checked [Website URL] across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI. A few competitors are appearing for searches related to your services, while your brand has limited visibility across these AI results. Would you like me to send over what I found? Best"
