I've unarchived some hand drawn work, feels kind of refreshing in the age of AI. simonfarussell.com/Hand-Drawn-A... #drawings #illustrations #archive

Any pixel artists in my network? Ideally someone with a bit of time on their hands and looking to take on a small project, emphasis on small. This is not my project, I'm just looking to make a connection.

A couple of projects been cancelled so I’ve got some freelance availability! 3D/2D mograph (C4D, Houdini, AE). Showreel below — shout if you need anything. #houdini #mograph #c4d #freelance

A data visualisation of a piece of house music. We used python to analyse the tune and perform analysis of each stem and the piece as a whole. #datavisualization #houdini #python

In Sync. A visual music test animation. We made a couple of Houdini tools to help with this, an audio to MIDI tool and a Houdini to After Effects exporter to bring over data and cameras etc. #houdini #musicvisualization #aftereffects #dataviz #synesthesia

A little music visualisation experiment. More info: sunmachine.io/work/light-f... #dataviz #musicvisualization #houdini #ebsynth #suno

Some Procreate concept sketches for visual music

Here's some painty Procreate pics I did. Trying to organise my Procreate files!

Human vocals → data → particle simulation. This visualization extracts vocal features and uses them to drive a particle system in Houdini. #houdini #synesthesia #audiovisualizatioin #soundart #mograph

Another test experimenting with visualising audio. This one’s a thrush. I analysed the recording in Spear, then rebuilt the spectral data inside Houdini with Python. #dataviz #audiovisualization #houdini #sonification More info: sunmachine.io/work/acousti...

I’ve been experimenting with visualising different kinds of audio, human voices and animal calls. This one’s a thrush. I analysed the recording in Spear, then rebuilt the spectral data inside Houdini with Python. More here: sunmachine.io/work/acousti... #houdini #audiovisualization #mograph #3d

Extracting data from music, I'm aiming to get semantic 'meaningful' data if possible. Dipping into music theory and language analysis as well as granular ffm/waveform stuff. I'm getting lots of data, need some time to see how well it can be utilised for visualisation.

I know my reach is very limited here but are there any fellow motion designers or designers in general from Devon/Cornwall on here? I'm sharing an office with the wonderfully talented @simonfarussell.bsky.social, @haxiomic.bsky.social and @callumcannarella.bsky.social down/up in Plymouth!
