I can't tell anyone what they need to feel today. Feel what you feel. And also you don't have to stay at the hot take factory and read everything that comes across your timeline. Touch Grass. Drink a glass of water. Call a loved one. Take care of yourself, beloveds 💛

On nights where I feel small and afraid, I light a candle to center myself and my spirit. Tonight, I light my candle for Iran, for Gaza, for Congo, and for every person experiencing violence and plead for the Lord have mercy. It feels like a flimsy prayer but it is all I have: Lord have mercy.

There are no winners in war. God, have mercy on our souls.
