Squirt Some Honey On Your Dog's Tongue, Here's What Happens

I don't say all this to defend no kings the Company cause I couldn't give a shit. and I'm not saying anybody has to go. but for us, it was a way to start getting involved. and if you're a political commenter telling me what's bad about it, you'd better follow up with a different thing that's good.

my wife and I went to no kings for the first time last week and it was nice. it was not our end-all-be-all, but we got to meet like-minded people in our area, really cool organizations were tabling (including anti-ICE and pro-Palestine orgs) and we got connected with them.

and that's what gets me. if you truly think the only way forward is to destroy the entire system, but don't take real steps towards that future, you're not a revolutionary. you're just a defeatist by another name.

(or maybe you didn't think it was good and had the cynical gut reaction from the very beginning that this was all bad, in which case this video just validates your worldview)

no what pisses me off is that this type of political post, this tone, this presentation, doesn't lead anywhere. it just adds to the dark cloud of "everything's fucked"

the information doesn't piss me off. if it's true (she doesn't give any evidence but I wouldn't be surprised) then it's good to know. it's important for us to be aware of who's behind these types of movements, especially the ones that claim to be "grassroots"

“polycule”, “metamour”, “compersion” poly people I love you but are you trying to sound like you’re in a star trek novel or

“no but see if you break down the etymology all these terms make perfect sense” you are only furthering the allegations

god I would love, I would LOVE, if there were winning entries with no AI in them. that would be my dream come true

ideating is also, fwiw, one of the things LLMs are worst at. unless your aim is the most milquetoast, middle-of-the-road ideas you can mathematically come up with

“I couldn’t come up with ideas so I created a mathematical average of what every idiot on the internet might come up with and turned that in”

for the record: quite a lot of laid off devs *have* created studios! those studios receive no money, and only work on their games outside of the full-time jobs they all also have (if they're fortunate)
