This is BlueSky JP, not that other place. Please don’t resort to personal abuse in an attempt to further your argument. Thing is, my comment doesn’t relate to the guilt or innocence of the defendant, but to the conduct of the professionals, advancing their case in the wrong way.

I raise you Guildford 4 and Birmingham 6. You clearly have myopic vision.

Somewhat saddened by the hysterical (self) publicising of some lawyers & medics in the #Letby case. There is a responsible, professional and ethical way to ventilate genuine concerns without ranting and shrieking in the media. Please think of the victims and their families.

Studied it perhaps Drew, but I confess to significant unease when lawyers or police officers in such cases get involved. In my opinion professional proximity to such cases ought never to be exploited for (perceived) personal advantage/publicity. A victim/clients privacy ought to be sacrosanct

Just a thought: if you are making a documentary about a famous crime story why not involve people who’ve studied the case in question?

Nobody should ever plead guilty unless they're actually guilty and even if they think they're guilty they still shouldn't plead guilty until they've had advice from a lawyer to make sure they are actually guilty and understand the consequences of a guilty plea www.theguardian.com/law/2024/dec...

Yes, of course Amanda, you’re added. You clearly have lots to contribute to the criminal law debate. I look forward to engaging with you.

"Suspected criminals", by which he means "people who haven't been tried yet"? How dare they not all inmediately plead guilty! And the overpaid fat cats of the criminal bar are apparently exploiting this for their own gain! www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/12...

If my recent experience is anything to go by, this can’t come soon enough!

No amount of accreditation of private prosecutors nor signing of codes of conduct would have prevented the Horizon Post Office scandal. The only solution is to abolish them or limit them so they only happen once in a blue moon, as in Scotland.

Lawyers in London! Please RP & help if you can 💔

London please help. I’m praying for a miracle, I’ve just got into the office and noticed my mums locket (in all these photos) that I wear every day has fallen off my neck on my walk in. My mum died when I was seven and her jewellery is most of what I have of her. I’m devastated

You are up to date.
