Have learnt a lot via the comments on IG for this one: 1. 99% of people absolutely fucking hate this shit. 2. The 1% of people who passionately defend it don’t actually like it, they just really enjoy the fact that the other 99% can’t stand it.

AI Slop Design School… (Did I spend hours meticulously recreating a horrible poster just to take the piss out of it? Hell yeah I did)

Hey all! I’m currently on the lookout for new work and/or collaborations! If that’s you, be sure to head on over to chazhutton.com to check out a portfolio, or even just pop in there for some much needed distraction / procrastination! Thank you!!! - C.

Really excited to share a series I drew that’s now become a little postcard book! - Which is super exciting. (Links to that later) for now though, here’s “More Artists Doing Things”!

Remember when the entire country stopped to watch a live feed of a puddle in Newcastle that commuters couldn’t get around and it was the biggest news story of the day? I really miss those kinda news days.

Watched Inception again recently and still can’t get over the fact that Leo and Marion Cotillard’s characters apparently spent decades in a dream where they could create with infinite possibility and wild creativity, and… it’s just an ordinary city of glass and concrete towers.

The Hat Hat is a hit! I’m so thrilled.

Hey @chazhutton.com two different people stopped me on the morning dog walk to compliment my hat hat.

Instagram influence is wild. I googled a heart rate monitor a month ago and now the algorithm has convinced me to run an ultra marathon. Why couldn’t I have looked up knitting needles? This could have been so much easier and cheaper.

It’s hard to believe now, but there was a time not that long ago where you’d only ever hear or read about the U.S. President like once or twice a month.

However, we did hear a lot about presidential candidates for like 6 months before a U.S. election, and I think the crux of it here is that Trump has never stopped campaigning.

Me at the punctuation shop asking if I can have a look at the semicolon and the shop owner asking “you sure you know how to handle this bud?” And me lying my arse off because I just wanna try it out.

Also, I’m producing a new set of these artworks in time for Christmas if anyone is looking for a present for the procrastination afflicted.

So, this is the last weekend to order these little postcard books! You can keep them as books, or tear out the pages as postcards and send them to friends! If you haven’t seen them, dive into this thread and check them out and/or give them a shout out! Thaaaanks! 💙🩵

So I drew 30 of these in the end! Then had to choose just 20 for the books, which was tough. I’ve also added some extra info in the Alt Text on all of these…

I was also initially worried the more obscure artists wouldn’t resonate as much, but I’ve since found out people have used the series to discover artists they previously didn’t know, which is really cool!

If I went to Switzerland and won a Swiss watch precision contest, I would literally never talk about anything else

Katie Mack@astrokatie.com

I went to Geneva a few weeks ago and spoke on a panel about the nature of time for a Geneva Watch Days event. While I was there, on a lark, I entered a competition to most precisely calibrate a Swiss watch. And today I found out that I won! 😃 www.instagram.com/reel/Dd6hUTB...

I started following this charming illustrator on the Hellsite™ at the beginning of the pandemic. He shared pics of some potted plants on his balcony that he thought had died but they miraculously came back to life. It was a lovely journey. He makes some very funny drawings. Please check out his shop

It's so funny that Mamdani is doing *exactly* what the abundance types are calling for -- competent government in service of constituents' quality of life -- but they can't embrace him because their billionaire donors hate Muslims.

Charlotte Clymer@charlotteclymer.bsky.social

It's pretty damn impressive how much ground Mayor Mamdani has been able to cover after only nine months in office on a wide range of basic quality-of-life issues in NYC. I was reading through the numbers this morning, and they're kinda astonishing. (thread)

“Stop Making Sense” turns 42 today. Of his performance, David Byrne said: “You see this person in the beginning [of the film] who's kind of angsty, stumbling around .. And then, by the end, he's surrendered to the music and is fairly joyful .. He’s found a kind of community." 🙏🏼 “Slippery People”
