once every two months I log onto this website and every time it's just like "who are you people, and what are you babbling about?"

"no guys, it's cool- me and everybody I know do that exact same fucked up thing. doesn't it make you feel better to know that this thing you think is so disgusting seems totally normal and commonplace to my friends and I?"

“'Most every guy I know did what he’s being accused of at one point or another with their girlfriend at some point after a night of drinking,' complained the Donald Trump-loving comedian Adam Carolla." www.salon.com/2026/07/15/m...

The good news: SCOTUS just ruled Trump’s tariffs illegal and ordered the government to pay back $81 billion in refunds! 🥳 The bad news: you’re not going to see a dime of it. It’s all going to the big companies, who then just jacked the prices up on everything so you’re the one who really paid it ☹️

The world is made of horrifying nightmares, and politics is when people who recognize that disagree about whether or not that’s a good thing or a bad thing

So now they have to scramble to find a last minute backup because every big leftist account with a big following told me and everyone else this was the best we could possibly do, and anyone saying different was just a spoiler. This is why I don’t post anymore 🫩

Algae are prolific producers of oxygen (and consumers of carbon dioxide), en masse producing a huge proportion of the oxygen we breathe, which means that the greening of the Reflecting Pool might be the most pro-climate thing Trump has ever done.

it's actually kind of a fascinating view into the inner workings of dementia to look at what grabs and holds his attention with everything else going on that's unbelievably more important

having a real hard time believing that Israel is actually going to be able to stop murdering people long enough for any of this to go through

So that $300 billion was essentially supposed to be a bribe to convince Iran to stop interfering with Israel’s non stop attacks on Lebanon and Gaza it would seem

I usually agree with Hasan on so many issues, but I really just can’t deal with him anymore with this Graham Platner bullshit, it’s just too much 🫩

when I was in college I worked at the Salvation Army, and because it’s a religious institution we would only play the local Christian radio station. from the day after Halloween until the week after New Year’s we would exclusively listen to the same 10 Christmas songs on a loop 24/7 😇🔫

every person who has ever worked retail for even a week has at least one song they can never hear again without being involuntarily transported back to the store

If sexual abuse was really considered a terrible thing, the world's richest and most powerful people wouldn't be abusers. The most valued technology wouldn't produce sexual abuse on demand. And allegations of abuse wouldn't be framed as positive depictions of masculinity. Our culture rewards abuse.

I caved lol

currently white knuckling it like I’m trying to quit heroin cold turkey, except actually it’s to stop myself from buying Mina the Hollower bc I have 384621 games already collecting dust in my backlog I haven’t played yet

The Ben Reckless vs Bricks and Minifigs debacle is so much bigger than it seems. It’s a perfect snapshot of the ways people can abuse the justice system to get over on others. If they can do this over legos, imagine how terrible it gets when it comes race.

that’s right, and don’t forget, if you ever feel lonely or lacking in robust dynamic human interaction, you have an entire biome of bacteria inside of you living off of your poop! ☺️

I found out apparently they killed google's search (like I guess it's 100% AI now?) so I switched my default search on my phone and my computer to DuckDuckGo. I can't tell if resisting this change means I'm forward thinking or stuck in the past, but either way fuck AI 🥰

Gas is $6, nobody can afford a house, and we just kicked starving people off SNAP so they now have to pay $8 for cereal. Why are we even doing this at all right now?
