I'm no longer happy with this novel. For reasons expanded on in the afterword, I had to include myself as a side-character, and I feel that it ruined the story. I'm no longer proud enough of this story to charge for it, so after this year's sale, I might take it off the market for good.

I just had a mini-horror movie experience, hah. I've switched to Twinings teabags because they started making them 100% compostable, and I've been putting them all in my worm farm to test them out. While burying some new ones in there, I found an older one that didn't seem to be breaking down. I-

already had my garden spike tool in hand, so I thought i'd slit the bag open to make it easier for the worms to break it down. The moment I touch the bag with the spike it disintegrates, and inside bursts out a writhing mass of six startled worms that were all packed inside munching on the tea!

It was really cool, like that moment you see an egg sac burst open in a horror movie and all the baby spiders swarm out. It wasn't scary, but I guess it would have been if you were afraid of earthworms for some reason! XD Anyway, so glad to see that I can enjoy teabags guilt free now! Composting FTW

Solar panels have gone from being so insanely expensive that they were only used on spacecraft, to so cheap that you can get a whole pallet of them for $175 per panel, and the use of solar power is growing at an almost exponential rate.

Can someone explain why we still see those caneras at furry cons that try to face detect what you are, and it's like "banana, 6% certainty" Like, what are we doing? Isn't that just AI shit? Is it training a model somewhere? Is it a live feed for some tech dingus into a furry con? How does it work?

Nooooo, that's not faaair. Hyper realistic dream about gooig skiing, and only getting to do one Green run before having to go to the ski shop and argue about renting new skis for no reason. And then waking up to Australian summer and a warm stuffy room. Weh.

since California ballots are now out: prop 40 is the billionaire tax, and you should vote yes to stick it to them but both props 41 and 42 are designed to retroactively cancel the billionaire tax because they’re afraid they can’t beat it at the ballot box yes on 40, no on 41 and 42
