If you have TCM or HBO Max, take some time this weekend to watch a 2019 documentary about Carl Laemmle, the founder of Universal Studios. It is brilliant and shows that this innovator was much more than a studio head. He saved over 300 families from the the Nazis. I didn’t even know he was Jewish.

Voted today! Dropped our ballots at the county Dropbox being watched by a cop. No big elections here in NJ. But voting needs to become a habit, not predicated on who is running for what office.

So CBS is canceling the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Why am I not surprised after Paramount kissed the orange moron’s ass and paid him $16 million settlement of a lawsuit which “had no merit.” The Tiffany Network has become a sorry excuse for a media outlet.

Why am I receiving GOP BS from the Social Security Admin? Found an email about the “Big Beautiful Bill” in my inbox. It didn’t mention all the horrible things in the bill. Just how it will benefit me as a senior. I have been on social security for years and never got anything so political before.

I can’t help but wonder if some of this crap with the National Guard is timed to outlaw the protests scheduled around the country on Saturday. Or at least put fear in those who plan to protest. I’m 73 and it isn’t working with me. I won’t be marching but I will be at the rally! Enough is enough!

That White House meeting was a set up from the get-go. I am so proud that the only real President in the room - Volodymyr Zelenskyy- stood up to the embarrassing bullying by our so-call POTUS and VP. I have rarely been so embarrassed to be an American.

I have been avoiding the news and BlueSky since 1/20. But after last night’s tragedy and the orange moron’s response to it, I am back in the the fight. Why were KNOWLEDGEABLE people and safety experts at the FAA let go? Because they pissed off the world’s richest man?
