Ugh. Dammit. I caught the plague (probably rsv) from Chloe. She lays on my pillow and breathes on me and coughs on me so I was wondering if I would get what she had. She spent the whole week home from school with a fever =< poor thing

Got an assortment of milk tea drinks from Wal Mart of all places. I have only tried the brown sugar one so I'm excited to try the other two. Deeply missing my weekly boba runs T^T (since we moved an hour away from my favorite shop.

We went on a walk over the weekend with the girls at this nature preserve at a local park. Part of the park is not paved or anything, its just sand since the park is coastal. Anyways, the ground was wet due to some rain and we saw a bobcat footprint! Hopefully you can see it okay in this Pic:

My cat obsessed daughters were over the moon. Spent the rest of the hike (on aptly named "bobcat trail") looking for prints lol.

I can’t help but notice that so many of these articles are about parents more conservative than their children at a time when the ethos of the conservative movement is Fuck your feelings, be aggro about it, rub it in peoples face. Maybe the change isn’t with the children!

Took my wife on a romantic getaway with no kids!! about an hour from the house. Staying at a locally owned hotel, its a renovated historical building. Check out our room, which is called "Espresso Martini" (all the rooms are themed after a cocktail!)

I am still shook about this. Earlier today I went to get the mail only to discover that hundreds of spiders had hatched and were hatching at that moment; and also they were having a War of Worlds with a bunch of ants, all inside my mailbox and all over my mail.

Yeah, I dropped that mail like the hottest potato. My mom was like "spray it" but then I'd have to remove the dead bodies so I was like, I'll let nature run its course and see what its like tomorrow.

I wish my autism didn't limit the amount of spoons I have. I basically only have enough to focus on family. Which is okay; I am okay with doing things for the kids as my main thing. I just wish my brain had room for Me things or Friend things as well like a NT person.

$350 for groceries. And this bill happens about once a month because thats about how long all the stuff I buy lasts (bags, soaps, cat litter etc). I feel like we need a roommate just to help cut costs xD like its ridiculous.
