been reading a lot of american history lately and the biggest takeaway is that history literally always repeats itself

we cannot co-exist with people like this. we either find a way to excise them, or we let them choke us with their ignorance.

Ever fucking green

Reject modernity embrace tradition

a guillotine is simply too merciful

Video games has decided to discontinue its once leading product, the video game

Don't let billionaires convince you slop is the future. They're used to managing & directing, not making things themselves. Of course they can't see the difference. They don't understand your love for the craft. Keep making personal, beautiful games. You've got my support 💖

I'm immensely proud to announce that my texture library that's been in the making for nearly a decade is now available on my itchio store for indie devs to purchase commercial licenses. makkon.itch.io

I keep seeing people throw out the term "Covid Correction" for the mass layoffs we continue to see in the games industry. We're beyond that. It's far beyond the mass hiring during Covid. It's mismanagement, poor trend chasing, cuts of departments to use AI (not as much but happening), etc.

I made a LinkedIn post asking for help today. If anyone knows of ANY full time roles with a livable wage please reach out. I really need the help. Thank you.❤️ 🔗My email: lindseywailes@gmail.com 🎬Demo Reel: vimeo.com/1082323434 🎨Artstation: www.artstation.com/linwail lnkd.in/p/gHmJg4N9
