How is this not a civil rights issue? How can the state allow a dangerous road to separate people from their jobs, grocery stores and homes? And in Memphis the people most affected are Black & poor. I used to drive Union daily when I worked downtown and it has only gotten worse.

Even the Wall Street Journal is raising the alarm about America's pedestrian safety crisis. "To walk on Union Avenue feels like you’re about to be killed" This story looks at a dangerous stretch of road in Memphis that exemplifies failed planning in the US:

That $366 million Elon is spending to try and convince voters that Congress should stay Republican? It's more money than McCain's 2008 campaign spent. But it's also, relative to Musk's net worth, the same as a household at the median income spending $32.

Some asshole parked in front of the fire hydrant on the block and the car was there all weekend long. I didn't know the driver (none of my actual neighbors would ever do this). I walked the dog by it again this am and got my phone out like I was taking very dramatic pics. Car was gone by end of walk

Yesterday was a good day racing wise, nice wins and some nice payouts. May it continue today! Also, LUSTERRR

The US government said on Thursday it is suspending some of the world's biggest tech and IT firms including Microsoft, Cognizant and Capgemini from a key green card program that allows skilled foreign workers to gain permanent residency through their employment.

And I know it was PURE DUMB LUCK that there was a global pandemic the next year that fucked things up But I was really considering waiting and saving more for the down payment Instant gratification worked in this situation
