This election, I'm all about pay for performance. Too many snakes and flippers and hidden-agenda candidates. I also want every candidate to sign under oath a commitment to their campaign promises, and if they do the opposite, they are immediately removed.

How very Russian of you, DJT

Trump: "We will be officially BANNING the term, 'AI/Artificial Intelligence,' in all relevant documents, and everything else, due to its inaccuracy. Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP"

In case Patrick doesn’t respond: Women and girls don’t matter. They’re objects to be used and disposed. Playthings. Not human. And Trump is POTUS, so shhhh…

HHS wants a new Medicare code that pays doctors extra only when they attribute a patient’s symptoms to a vaccine. Vaccine critics say doctors are paid to push vaccines. We aren’t. Under this code, we’d be paid to blame them. My new piece in @cidrap.bsky.social: www.cidrap.umn.edu/childhood-va...

cidrap.umn.eduCIDRAP Op-Ed: HHS says it wants better evidence on vaccine injuries. It’s building a system that will produce the opposite.

We can, too. Teamwork, kids. Global teamwork. Just let yourself imagine how fucking good it will feel to shut these monsters down, one by one. With the House and Senate, and us acting like the employers we are, we’ll make our demands known and hold elected officials accountable.

What’s absolutely fascinating—& entirely predictable—is that the MAHA kooks (RFK Jr, Bhattacharya, etc.) used to say that it’s important to do proper RCTs & it’s important to get rid of financial conflicts of interest in medicine, but now that they run the health system they think the opposite 🧐

If you have not followed the latest news about the proposed RFK Jr-funded trial that Danish researchers wanted to conduct in Guinea-Bissau, this new piece by @sorenhough.bsky.social & Josh Abbott is astounding—& breaks additional news (Disclosure: they quote me) www.bioxconomy.com/modalities/b...

Have you seen the number of car washes in California, Larry? Cars are loved, it’s the traffic. That’s what they hate. Tho in many places there isn’t much traffic, and still so much car love.

There was a fucking hole in our planet’s *atmosphere* Like a legit, no joke, “this will unravel our entire ecosystem” hole in the world, and then we fixed it by working together across national and political lines As a species we decided, “we will survive” Let’s do that some more

Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

May all the scribes at Saturday Night Live create the infomercial of a lifetime. So it is.

Angry@angrystaffer.bsky.social

Oh good, we’ve made it to the “advertising discrete partnerships with the CIA” stage of this goatfuck. I remember when Marco was supposed to be the reasonable one.

He’s plagiarizing RFK Jr’s speech, and they’re both wrong. People who are experiencing illness have many other dreams besides getting better. I talk to them about their dreams—it’s unsurprising to me that they have dreams that go beyond their self, unlike this twit.

We can’t fund female health research (The Rose Garden announcement is a vote ploy.) but a genetically engineered war dog start up is flush with cash. Can we get the toy soldiers out of our government?

This is why the birth dose of hep B vaccine matters—& why WHO recommends all babies receive it, universally In this US study, over half of hep B exposures were “horizontal” (non-maternal) In a country like Guinea-Bissau, where the hep B prevalence is almost 20%, universal birth dose is critical

A government washing its hands of disaster preparedness & response is…..quite something, wow 😳

Kyle Griffin@kylegriffin1.bsky.social

BREAKING: Trump's head of FEMA just told states to prepare to handle disasters on their own. The Trump admin's disaster chief told state officials they must increase their financial reserves and emergency capabilities to handle most disasters on their own — without federal help.

Vivek Ramaswamy, or as Trump will one day call him, Ramasleazy, is despicable. Both for this ad, an unconscionable choice he made and for which he should be shunned, and for his biotech pump&dump scheme. IMO, he’s a criminal. Just another one trying to steal our money. But he’s uniquely gross.

It’s BS manipulation for votes. Trump hates women.

Alt CDC (they/them)@altcdc.altgov.info

🧵 1/3 Apparently the diagnostic test for presidential concern about women’s health is a collapsing approval rating. Trump is at 30% among women, and suddenly we get a Rose Garden announcement about boosting women's health research. apnews.com/article/mela...

Excellent thread and grateful for Dr. Yamey’s honesty. We must speak out. Remaining politically neutral endangers lives.

Prof Gavin Yamey MD MPH@gavinyamey.bsky.social

I was kindly invited to give the final plenary at this year's American Society of Bioethics & Humanities annual meeting—I discussed being a global health professor who engages in advocacy One thing I got asked is: should scientists or healthcare professionals remain politically neutral?

It’s vapor. Trump will do nothing to benefit women’s health. He hates women. He told his own wife that her signature on the so-called order isn’t worth anything. Because he’s a misogynist. The $500M will disappear like the money in his legal defense fund. Our money, BTW.

Michael J. Stern@michaeljstern.bsky.social

Kroger made ~$2.6 billion in profits in 2025, raising prices on families to pass their wallets. Add BigGricer to BigOil and BigChem: they don’t care about their customers at all. Only their customers’ money.

Kroger just announced the largest layoffs in its history, with plans to cut 3,000 employees as it ramps up use of AI. Reminder that Kroger has spent $12.3B on stock buybacks since 2019 and paid its CEO $14M last year — 417x its median worker's pay. AI is turbo-charging corporate greed.
