We still have the cultural image that actual Nazis were defeated in the 1940's, and the remaining Nazis are either unemployed basement-dwellers or fringe militias in Idaho. There is still a reluctance by media and business leaders to say openly that the world's wealthiest person is a Nazi.

The ongoing Musk nazi tweets just have me wondering if corporate boards are even a thing anymore

My opinion of #NHL team logos. Weighted for efficacy when small, imho the the largest single factor: Ducks** Boston*** Buffalo ** Calgary***** Carolina** Chicago* (problematic) Colorado*** Columbus* Dallas** Detroit**** Edmonton*** Florida* L.A.*

Minnesota * Montreal***** Nashville** Devils**** Islanders* Rangers* Ottowa** Philadelphia*** Pittsburgh *** San Jose*** Seattle* St.Louis***** Tampa* Toronto**** Utah* Vancouver*/**(which one?) Vegas* Washington*** Winnipeg**

AOC: I want everybody to understand that the cuts to your health care are what’s paying for this. You get screwed over to pay a bunch of thugs in the street that are shooting mothers in the face.

anyway. no war. oppose this at every level, in every way, and do not get sucked into these false debates about process. after all, both american parties are currently pro-genocide. america's hegemon *has* to be dismantled if there is to be anything resembling peace in our or future times

Democrats would be crazy not to make this comment super-famous tomorrow when the Senate debates health care. Republicans don’t want you to be cared for as a patient when you’re sick. They think of you as a “consumer”—and tough luck if you don’t have the money for the care you need.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Roger Marshall: "We want patients to become consumers again. We want patients to see what the actual prices are. We believe that if we would add the price tags to this bill, that it would save the country a trillion dollars a year."

After the $100M privatization boondoggle... "...AHS took over provincial laboratory testing and returned Alberta to a fully public model. By December, 2023, patient waiting times were reduced by 76%." The same day as this report is released, UCP announced more privatization.

May this portion of the dissent by Ketanji Brown Jackson haunt John Roberts forever and be the final word on his tenure as Chief Justice.

(cards to make to avoid conversation with fellow pub regular) Card: 1. "Forget about labels, individual or state. At some point, there has to be principle if not moral." 2. "I like to think of each soul as a spark or glimmer of light. Some are brighter, but they all make up a more wondrous whole."

3. "To deny the value of everyone, every spark, every child, is without principle or moral." 4: "No matter the viewpoint, the asymmetrical damage speaks to the lack of moral authority vs the political." 5: "We will have to argue Card 1 again."
