Hi everyone! I feel like most folks already know me, but just in case... I am indeed a physicist but working as an engineer (for many years). I have a huge love for space, writing, reading, video games, music (BAND-MAID is life), anime, soccer, & plenty of other things. Thanks for dropping by! 🥰

Oh yeah, nope. Nope. I do NOT like where Flanagan took the #Carrie adaptation. It would be fine as an original work, but this strays so far from the original point, imo. The tragedy horror got overshadowed by… idk what. This just didn’t fly for me. Nothing against the cast! They were phenomenal.

Finally sitting down to watch the new Carrie series. Ep1 done and… I… am not sure I’m going to love where Flanagan takes this story. But giving it a fair shot since I love his work and the entire cast. #Carrie2026

Journeying back to NYC to see BAND-MAID in concert tomorrow night! First time for me in 4 years! It’ll be so good to see them again! 🤘🏻🎶 #bandmaid #bandmaidUSTour

Made it home from Offkai and my west coast adventure late last night/this morning! Definitely was nice sleeping in my own bed again. What an awesome time overall, though. I’m glad things worked out so I could do the big trip. #LiveLikeLaky #LakyStrong #OffkaiGen5

A week in Oregon with family (#LakyStrong, #LiveLikeLaky), now five days with friends in San Jose for #OffkaiGen5. Charging and draining my social battery like a champ.

Sad for Morocco 🇲🇦 , but I’m glad it wasn’t a match full of questionable calls and scores. 2-0 to France. #FIFAWorldCup #FRAMAR

Let’s go, Morocco!! 🇲🇦 #FIFAWorldCup #FRAMAR

The ARG-EGY match was infuriating. EGY gets a goal called back for a foul made on the other end of the pitch… fine. They score again, but then ARG has a similar foul & their goal isn’t called back?? Nah, this smells bad. Sorry, Egypt, you were robbed. 😔 🇪🇬 #FIFAWorldCup

Belgium 🇧🇪 slams the door on the US! 1-4 final to the Red Devils!! See you in the quarterfinals! As for the USMNT 🇺🇸… I do see promise there. The talent and fans are there; we’ll see what 4 years brings. Til then, support the local clubs! #FIFAWorldCup #USABEL

The US looks severely disjointed in this match. Like they don’t know how to play with a high-ranking European team. Keep it going, Belgium 🇧🇪!! 1-2 to Belgium at the half. #FIFAWorldCup #USABEL

Holy hell, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿…!!! What! A! Match!! Great football and congrats on moving on to the quarterfinals!  Mexico played amazing. Way to keep attacking. But Lions, see you soon!! 🦁 3-2 to England! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 #FIFAWorldCup #MEXENG

Final 2-0 USA. The US did play well being down a man in the last half hour. They’ll need to keep that intensity though. Great match, Bosnia 🇧🇦. You were wonderful to watch, Dragons. Until the next time!! #FIFAWorldCup #USABIH

It’s a messy game all around. 1-0 US. Come on Bosnia 🇧🇦 , you got this in the second half! #Dragons #FIFAWorldCup #USABIH

Am I an American living in the US? Yep. Am I rooting for Bosnia-Herzegovina tonight? Also yes. I would not be upset to see the US move on, but watching Bosnia keep going in this tourney would be amazing. Let’s go Dragons! Hajmo Bosno! 🇧🇦#FIFAWorldCup

Yes!! A team I rooted for today actually won! Well played Morocco 🇲🇦 !! Gorgeous win on PKs over Netherlands!! #FIFAWorldCup #NEDMAR

It is WILD to me to see these bigger World Cup games without sold out stadiums. First Houston, now Gillette. Like the upper levels of Gillette are EMPTY. FIFA and the US should be ashamed at this. #FIFAWorldCup

Super hard loss, 2-1 to Brazil. Japan 🇯🇵 played with so much heart this tourney. The #SamuraiBlue will be missed for the rest of the #FIFAWorldCup. Congrats Brazil and good luck in your next match! #BRAJPN

First half and Japan 🇯🇵 leads 0-1!! Let’s keep it going #SamuraiBlue!! #FIFAWorldCup #BRAJPN

Let’s go Japan!! 🇯🇵 Hoping the #SamuraiBlue will play amazing today!! #FIFAWorldCup #BRAJPN

Nice draw, Japan! 1-1 with Sweden. Looking forward to the round of 32 match against Brazil! Let’s keep it going, #SamuraiBlue 🇯🇵 !! #FIFAWorldCup #JPNvSWE

Caught up on the midnight match this morning and watched an amazing #SamuraiBlue get a 4-0 win over Tunisia! Let’s go Japan!! Really liking how they’re looking this year. Blue Lock vibes, anyone?? 🇯🇵 #FIFAWorldCup #TUNvJPN

Nicely played, Samurai Blue!! 🇯🇵 Way to equalize each Dutch goal! I will take a very entertaining draw. Looking forward to seeing more of you this tourney! 2-2 final. #SamuraiBlue #FIFAWorldCup #NEDJPN

Wow, okay USA, I’m impressed. That goal at 90+8’ was not expected but wonderful. Wonderful first game win 4-1!! Let’s keep this going! 🇺🇸 #FIFAWorldCup #USAPAR

I’m legit impressed with how well the USMNT is playing. Lots of heart, all the attacking, not giving up easy plays, and Paraguay isn’t making it easy. Might be a little excited to see the US men do well this WC. #WorldCup #USAPAR

Why… why does our (USA) kit look like Where’s Waldo?? Paraguay’s kit looks very sharp. Ours…? Um. 😐 (yes I judge teams based on jersey lol) #WorldCup #USAPAR

For those keeping up with my #medicaladventures… MRI results are in! All looks good! No kidney lesions and very little change from my last CT. Going to have another in six months then go from there. Yay for good news!

Lots of great games between Xbox Showcase and Nintendo Direct!! Persona 6, Kingdom Hearts 4, new Fire Emblem, remastered Ocarina of Time, Star Fox, Xenoblade Genesis...!! So much fun to come! And time to play previous games in some of these series to catch up haha.

Our astronaut Luca Parmitano is assigned as pilot of NASA’s #ArtemisIII mission. With Europe powering Orion with the European Service Module, this mission will test the critical operations preparing for humankind's return to the Moon. A strong step forward for ESA–NASA partnership. 📸 NASA
