Argument 3: Because gender expression outside of cultural hegemony likely holds no weight, the expression of a person’s gender is not up for your preference to control. Therefore, what you perceive as masculine in cis women or feminine in cis men holds no weight.

Other side note: Now, if we wanna talk about gender expression within patriarchical rule, particularly in hegemony on a global scale, then I would understand how a preference would then become a political stance and subsequent undertaking to cause change. We are talking (clothing, hair style, etc).

They both hold that patriarchy and misogyny. Not only because they control your sense of expression and understanding of self through static belief and perfectionism, but they truncate your understanding of cultures around you causing more mental inflexibility, fear, subsequent, apathy. Etc.

Argument 1: To attempt to control the expression of someone’s gender is still upholding, patriarchy and misogyny. Yes “both” genders can uphold patriarchy and misogyny. You do not get to control their expression because of your preference per it undermines autonomy and understanding of self.

Perfectionism is controlling somebody for their looks, their sexuality, their style or fashion: things that do not hold that much weight but for some reason you think you need to control. It is not calling you out for homophobia, misogyny, ableism, or not doing your civic duty.

So, I am really good at picking out men who fight against patriarchy decently well. There are a couple that I side eye 👀 but I’m pretty decent at the most part Can we have more married men who are deconstructing from patriarchy come to the front? I need y’all to leave the pack. Real bad!

I truly dummy believe I’d give that much of a fuck if I was the only man. Of course there would be crazy woman but NEARLY to the extent of the opposite, so I’d mostly relax.

Since I’m just dry ass up, I’m thinking about my volunteering with 988 and how I’m realizing that 988 is not, to my knowledge, being used well enough to help people out. The training is subpar, and it is very tiresome how you have to balance quickly getting them help versus keeping them stable.

I likely still gonna volunteer for them, but I’m realizing this is not the platform. I’m probably gonna give many of my volunteer hours that I want to give. I am likely going to give my volunteer hours to platforms like 7 cups.
