It is disturbingly difficult to tell noises the cat makes from noises Chocobos in Final Fantasy Rebirth make.

AI hasn't made the spammers any smarter. They still can't manage a mail merge properly. .si address too. Reminded me to automatically bitbucket those.

ARRGGGHHH. New No Man's Sky Expedition starts today, new Fallout 76 Season starts next week. Why does it have to be this way.

Where are all the articles on PS+ games being early? There's plenty on it being "late" when the first Tuesday is the 7th

You’ve been kidnapped but the main character of the last TV show you watched is coming to rescue you. I'm doomed.

If only he knew someone who get could rid of illegal tarrifs bsky.app/profile/schi...

Canada's boycott of California wine is causing devastating harm to winegrowers. I'm urging the Canadian government to recognize that California doesn’t agree with these tariff wars, to lift these restrictions, and increase consumer options to strengthen both our economies.

I have never seen a cat so evenly split between attention driven and food driven. At least it makes it somewhat convenient to keep her from the kitten food, just keep scritching her.

Looks like the Emperor of Glass milestone in #NoMansSky is buggy. Couldn't advance it at all, quitting the game didn't help. Leaving the system and going back finally did. On to Phase 3.

Dreamed of Henry Cavill as the next Dr. Who. He tried to convince potential companions that the TARDIS was a time machine by showing them lots of pristine, in package 1st edition D&D miniatures. When he was done, he'd open them and manually worry them to make them look the correct age.

The difference between animal shelters here is stark. We contacted one about a senior bonded pair a little over two months ago. They ghosted us after a few attempts. They are still on their adoption page. The other we applied for a mother and a kitten. They bent over backwards to give us them all.

Momma cat was being affectionate this morning, rubbing back and forth against my legs, then did the headbutt collapse thing on my foot. One of the kittens was "Oh, all right. I'll be nice to the Foot Monster" and settled on my foot. Then she looked up and saw it was attached to someone and ran.

Happy 25th anniversary @jenbooks.bsky.social Back at the beginning of the month when we were only semi-seriously looking for a new cat I joked that we might be getting some on our anniversary. Well, today's the day and apparently the 25th is Siamese, we're picking them up later.

Of course. I'm getting close(ish) to the end of FFXVI and Infinite Wealth is going on sale. Apparently I'm never going to clear my backlog of big RPGs

You missed an edge case @xbox.com. The "connect a controller" dialog apparently accepts B as a cancel even though there isn't a UI button. The dialog closes and reopens because you haven't connected a controller, even though you used the controller to cancel.

Trying to punch through ignore on two contact numbers at 8 AM for something that isn't time sensitive is a REALLY REALLY good way to get me to stop doing business with you.

No Man's Sky expedition finished. I like the new mechanics, but I don't really appreciate being forced to stay on one planet using only the Colossus for transport.

They nerfed @xbox.com reward points again. I was going by inertia before, but I'm done now, this was just the final straw. Whatever points I happen to get is what I happen to get. No more using bing for game searches, no more mobile app.

Just finished the new Saint's Row game. I've played all of the others except for the first and Agents of Mayhem. It was a perfectly fine SR game, I don't understand why it got all the hate. Not perfect by any means, but enjoyable enough.

Has anyone run the numbers with less rounding? Somehow I wouldn't be surprised if the real number is 88,000 square feet.

The National Trust for Historic Preservation warned that President Trump’s planned 90,000-square-foot ballroom would “overwhelm the White House itself,” which spans just 55,000 square feet. https://wapo.st/4hmL8rC

I was going to keep Gamepass Essential to be able to play a particular game with my wife. Turns out we can get it on PC for less than two months of Essential. After 17 years of Gold and GamePass, buh-bye @gamepass.xbox.com. I'm the type of whale they liked, but enough is enough.
