Lawyer. I love history. Twain was right: History doesn't repeat, but it often rhymes. The greatest sin of Trumpism is allowing the advancement of otherwise unqualified people by rewarding idiocy and loyalty to Trump (but I repeat myself).

Zacharia now says she "misheard" the question about her bar license. She claims that she thought she was only asked, "Where were you after law school?" But those words don't appear anywhere in the actual conversation. She's just a shameless liar. Which means she'll fit right in with Trump.

Hey @cnn.com, Trump just said, “Portland is burning to the ground. It’s insurrectionists all over the place.” Not true, but it's what a sociopath who's lost touch with reality might say. And since this sociopath is the President, this would seem to be newsworthy. So, where's the CNN story? Hacks.

I saw that Dick Grenell is getting all bent out of shape (Peyronie's disease?) about Les Mis cast members boycotting the Kennedy Center performance when thin-skinned Donnie will be in attendance. /1

Apparently, Dick doesn’t realize the hypocrisy of whining about how art should be “apolitical” just after he scrubbed all left-leaning performances from the Kennedy Center. /2

The #Myanmar earthquake is horrible. Now is the time for the US to step up and show what a reliable ally it can be by providing support to the affected ... Oh. Wait a second.

Todd #Blanche is a piece of shit and an embarrassment to the legal profession. He fired Elizabeth Oyer for refusing to recommend that Trump's buddy, Mel Gibson, should get a special pardon to restore his gun rights following a domestic violence conviction. Blanche personifies the new corruption.

nytimes.comJustice Dept. Official Says She Was Fired After Opposing Restoring Mel Gibson’s Gun RightsElizabeth G. Oyer, the former pardon attorney, said that she was not told why she was dismissed, but that as events unfolded she feared they might lead to her firing.

Why are the GOP such pathetic hacks? In bringing back Forts "Bragg" and "Benning," Hegseth is consciously thumbing his nose at the sensible law which prohibits naming military bases after Confederate traitors. His sophomoric maneuvers to avoid this law only highlight how much he is racist scum.

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell. This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

I love when the camera pans to Marco #Rubio during the Trump - #Zelensky sitdown. Does he realize how he comes across as a completely useless bootlicker? Embarrassing for America.

I am wondering when Leon and #Tesla will have to defend their product against a products liability suit. This article reports on researchers who contend that, statistically, the ugly Tesla toaster/truck is a horrible fire risk. theautowire.com/2025/02/11/r...

Trump's #FTC head supports giving Trump freedom to fire FTC commissioners who might not go along with him, despite the plain language of Congress' statute and 90 years of history to the contrary. How does Trump keep finding these incompetent opportunists? www.axios.com/2025/02/14/f...

Pam #Bondi pledges to root out corruption. By "corruption," does she mean things like a foreign power paying billions to a politician's son-in-law? Or maybe a shadow president trying to dismantle government agencies in order to further his personal business empire? thehill.com/policy/natio...
