It’s going to suck being an evangelical even ten years from now because of these idiots. (And before I get attacked: No, I’ve never once voted for Trump or any of them. And before that I was Buddhist and the biggest Obama fan ever. Still am on that last part. Even wrote a short book about him.)

Brilliant. 👏👏

The disparity between how the media treats Dems vs Republicans will never cease to amaze me. 🤬🤬

A quick thank you to everyone who's been tuning in to the podcast lately. I'm trying to build a place where we can talk honestly about politics, military affairs, and world events w/o all the outrage and partisan nonsense. It's encouraging to see more people tuning in.

Some wisdom and motivation for your day. Applies to just about every topic you can think of. Stick around to the end.

This was a really well-done article. 👏👏

👏👏

Love this one

I’d say the quality of food at normal grocery stores (not health food stores) has gotten higher over my lifetime

Now *all* together

When will we wake up or care...

Apparently, Trump can't control Elon. Which makes Elon the most powerful person in the world?

I remember stating on my podcast six or eight months ago about how as Ukrainian fixed wing aircraft are able to operate more freely near the front lines, we would start to see an increased effect. Drones have obviously played their part, but there is just nothing that compares to 500 pd bombs. 👊❤️🙏

If you're politically independent, tired of partisan talking points, and still believe it's important to understand what's happening in the world... I've got a podcast for you. **The Stan R. Mitchell Show.** You can stay informed without staying angry.

This is how it's done. Call it out. Show the receipts.

I had no idea PCA had commissioned some sort of study on this, and had I been making a blind guess, would’ve assumed this sort of document had come from PCUSA. It’s a pretty fascinating barometer of our current times.

A good reminder. 👊❤️🙏

I’d like to think all voters were outraged by a masked paramilitary grabbing people off the streets, but fuel prices are the nail in the coffin. For the record, immigrants are not poisoning the blood of our country.

Just heard a pollster say it took a one-two punch to put MAGA down. The first one was the Epstein files. And the second one is the new war in Iran. I'm not MAGA, but that seems dead on to me. What do you all think?

How are things going? Well, when he’s not selling out the Ukrainians to his buddy Vladimir Putin, here’s what he’s doing. You would think after 10 years, he would have a healthcare plan or about a dozen other things he’s promised. 🧐🤷🏻‍♂️ At this point, just keep him busy and distracted. Less damage.

It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve heard this, I always feel hope from it. And as we head into the midterms, and as I work on my podcast for tonight, I maintain my optimism that this country can heal its wounds and pull back together. Don’t let anyone tell you differently.

🤣🤣 Hilarious. Also, follow these guys. They’re good dudes.

I am late in getting to this, but this is a brilliant article by @radiofreetom.bsky.social www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/1...

@chatterton.bsky.social , just wanted to say great piece in The Atlantic. Guy link for others below. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/1...

For the Christians who follow me.

I’m sure it’s nothing lol

I’m writing a Western right now, so my mindframe is probably in the wrong place… 🤣🤣 But if the police aren’t going to protect property, then you need like Pinkerton detectives or security services. Just shoot one of these idiots and the rest will leave.

I'm old enough to remember when Trump said he'd be tough on China, before they slapped him around and made him look like he was a weak toddler.

As it should be. The Defender of Democracy.

Got to post this after this weekend?! Go VOLS!!!!

This two-post thread. Who said what to Trump?

This is a common thread with folks who defend Trump - "He was nice to me, so he can't be that bad." It reflects their intellectual simplicity because they are so consumed with proximity to power that they don't care how the powerful person treats others. It is a sign of serious personal insecurity

This seems like a pretty convincing argument about Hegseth. And also a bold prediction for the coming years.

Agreed. Who’s going to be buying these cars? And what will they cost?

I heard something this week that really stuck with me: Both fear and faith require us to believe something we can't see. I spent a few mins talking about that at the end of this weeks podcast, after covering Iran, Trump's Russia problem, and the problems for the GOP. Hope you'll give it a listen.

Yep. I went on quite a rant about it this week on my podcast. 🤬🤬

At my stepson’s high school football game tonight, and this is a pretty big deal by most standards. Two 7–0 teams. A big Knoxville rivalry. The game is on cable TV, and we even got a flyover from 2 Blackhawk helicopters. Don’t let anyone fool you. High school football is getting bigger and bigger.
