It's a big week in Star Trek Comics. 3 new issues, all of which are excellent reads! Star Trek: Zero Point #1, Star Trek: HoloWeen, Vol 2, #2, and Star Trek: Red Shirts: Ghosts of the 21st Century #3 And a TPB: Star Trek: The Edges of the Final Frontier. An IDW Classics Collection.

New this week. Star Trek: Lower Decks Vol 3 TPB. Unfortunately, the copy that came in was damaged so my LCS has ordered another one for me. I'll repost with a photo, once it comes in.

In the new Star Trek #1, there's a 2 page preview, at the back, of next month's premiere of Star Trek: Zero Point. No secret that the newly promoted "Raffi" Musiker is Captain of the USS Endeavour, but what might not be widely known, yet, is who her First Officer is. No spoilers, but It's exciting!

IDW's exciting third Star Trek Monthly series finds some familiar faces: CMDR Alexander Rozhenko, Lt Sidney La Forge, and Lt Jack Crusher, joining with new crew members under 7 of 9's command to save settlers from catastrophe and explore a region beyond the known galaxy. What could go wrong?🖖

Penultimate issue from Lansing, Kelly, & Bonilla. A showdown looms, and the tension is peaking. Kirk and Sato reunite to save what's left of the Federation by defeating Solara, Osyraa, and the rest of the Emerald Chain but they have designs of there own - at least Osyraa does. Not to be missed🖖

Next up: From Feb 1986, DC Comics Star Trek Vol 1 #23, and From Sep 1986, DC Comics Star Trek 1st series Annual #2 Signed by Denys Cowan, who was really fun to talk to...and he schooled me on some things as well.

Newly autographed books from Fan Expo 2026. First up, from Jan '81, Marvel's Star Trek #10, signed by interior artist Klaus Janson and cover artist Frank Miller. Janson inked several of the Marvel books including #1, but I chose this book because both artists in attendance worked on the one issue.

Frank Miller had a huge line, & everyone got about 30 seconds with him...until he saw this book. Everyone brings Batman or Moon Knight to sign, so this was a real "blast from the past" for him. He stopped the line, and took 2 minutes with me flipping through the book, talking about it and Janson.

Lanzing & Kelly start the final series trilogy taking us 25 years into the future. It's bleak. The Emerald Chain keeps its hold. The Federation's Admiral Sato finally catches up to Kirk and the Omega to eliminate them. But Dr Zed returns with a plan giving us hope...if 2 former friends can reunite🖖

A bored Christine Chapel yearns for adventure and finds far more than she bargained for. Given the chance to reconnect with a friend on the planet Poilant, she and the crew find no one - except a robot named D6. The fun begins as they descend into the planet to search for the missing personnel.🖖

Red shirt Harry Deubert finds hidden contraband. There's Section Null, a secret Starfleet directorate turning red shirts into assets. Conspiracies - and how does Andorian Dorian Lyna Taval fit in? Finally, of course, lots of gruesome deaths of the Red Shirts. Strap in and hang on!🖖
