Staz Johnson

Here are details & examples of the private commissions I now offer. DM me if you're interested or if you have any questions.

Death sketch for Halloween. I must admit I feel a bit 'icky' drawing Gaiman characters, but there's only so many spooky femme fatale comic characters, so...

Vampirella sketch for Halloween.

Vampy, another Halloween femme fatale. I'll ink it when I get a moment... (hopefully before Halloween 😉)

Deathbird, private commission

L**y D**th sketch for Halloween, inks.

Sketch of 'she who shall not be named' (apparently). I was hoping to do a one-a-day series of drawings of horror-themed femme fatales in the run up to Halloween, unfortunately, it doesn't seem like I'll have time to keep up that pace, hopefully this won't be the last one though.

A Bridge Too Far for Tax Purposes.

Question for UK comic creators, when you're doing shows/cons & selling stuff, do you use a debit card reader? If so, which one, & would you recommend it?

Staz is so good.

The Spider, private commission.

A slightly more involved warm up sketch this morning.

It has come to my attention that I will have a couple of weeks down time at the end of the year, so if you want a commission, get your request in now, I will only have time for a couple extra to the ones already on my books. First come first served, see my pinned post for the commissions I offer.

I'll be at the Sheffield branch of the Forbidden Planet tommorow from 2:00pm alongside Peter Doherty & Nick Percival, signing & sketching for Day Of Dredd. I will also have a small number of copies of my sketchbook 'Sketchy Details' for sale too. Come down if you're in the area.

A little inking warm up from this morning.

I spent last week in Cornwall with my family. I managed to have a few cheeky pints in The Pier House in Charlestown, also managed to leave by the front door not being chucked through the window like Donald Sutherland in The Eagle Has Landed!!

For those who wondered why I've been doing a bunch of sketches of the Golden Age Black Cat- this is why. A re-imagining of Black Cat #1 (1946) cover. Originally just for fun, but there will probably be an A3 print of this, DM me if you want one (£15+shipping)
