The human perspective is what matters most in the age of AI slop. We are proud of our creators who use their voice and stay true to their ideas

A good reason to start a newsletter is to break free from social media’s algorithmic shackles and connect with people directly

Today we integrated our first "closed" platform into @trustfnd.com This brings bundling power across platforms to every creator on @steady.page , @ghost.org, and @beehiiv.com.

Trustfnd@trustfnd.com

The addition of Steady is a big deal because Steady is built differently from Ghost or Beehiiv. Like Patreon or Substack, Steady doesn’t have an API we can access. Thanks for agreeing to partner and bring bundling powers to creators on your platform, @steady.page!

*Just shipped:* Steady support for Bundle Passes. This means you can now bundle paid publications on Steady, one of Europe’s largest creator platforms, along with @ghost.org and @beehiiv.com. Tearing down those platform walls, brick by brick.

Building a real relationship with a clearly defined audience leads to turning the trust that emerges from it into the product itself

The relationship with the #community is the way to stand out from media houses. It is the #relationship between a person who makes something and people who decide they want to spend their time with it. The face of that relationship is then individual #journalists with their own creative work

As a #creator, you can lift your visibility by appearing consistently in front of your community. As we are a non-algorithm driven platform, we are not prioritizing projects by virality or clickbait-style. We stand behind each project and support them equally.

Migration has miscellaneous reasons: favourable conditions, financial prosperity, or a matter of vision. Most people who join us come with the idea to be a part of a human-driven platform with real people, and they discover a hub of real interaction and support

Hey Creators! We are proud to support the European movement. We strongly believe that together we can build a stronger and more independent media landscape 🇪🇺 #European

Guided by democratic values, we foster a community built on transparency and open dialogue, creating a safe environment where trust is our top priority

Hey creators! We built a new feature: Steady Pitch AI. It’s designed to help you get over that "blank page" hurdle. In under 5 mins, it handles your pitch, testimonials, and guides your next steps for launch. Check it out: pitch.steady.page #steady.berlin #creators #tech

Hey European Creators! We know how challenging the rise of AI can be: both mentally and financially. Our belief is that we need to stand together. We are building an effective system based on technological sovereignty, ensuring you can continue to share your projects with your communities

We believe in democracy and comply with the laws that apply within the European Union. We respect the rights of our creators, securing their financial and legal interests. That is what makes us, as Europeans, stronger. If you are a creator looking for a safe space for your project, we are here

So much personal data is owned by just a few powerful men in the US. We are petrified, terrified, and outraged. Good news: there are European alternatives like Steady. If you care about your data safety and want to break away from algorithms, join us! steady.page/en/

The most rewarding part of podcasting is knowing that, as an expert, you’ve given your audience something they truly enjoy. For us, the most rewarding thing is that we handle all the legal and financial questions, allowing creators the full space they need for their creativity.

We offer a wide variety of tools to integrate into your membership. But here’s a common myth: the more tools you use, the more profit you make. In reality, we are your central publishing hub. We provide monetization, payments, email, and analytics. A centralized workflow leads to growth.

The 'squeeze' is tangible, and independent journalists are definitely concerned about AI disruption and the undermining of journalism as a whole. The key remains building high-trust relationships with audiences and bringing them into a membership model.

Media executives around the world are gloomy about the state of the business at large — but a little more than half are optimistic about their *own* news businesses, a new report from @reutersinstitute.bsky.social finds. www.niemanlab.org/2026/01/publ...

We value the relationships we build with our media makers and strengthen over the years. We are genuinely glad to see projects evolving and growing their communities. Today, we are celebrating a jubilee with @uebermedien.de. Congratulations! To start your own project: steady.page/en/

Amidst the flood of disinformation and untrustworthy content, we are committed to building a community of insightful voices. We unite creators from diverse fields who do the deep work, conduct profound research and build meaningful projects. Discover our community: steady.page/en/discover

As a German-based company, we have developed a clear stance against politically extreme voices. We provide a safe, algorithm-free space for creators to focus on their independent, thoughtful work.

AI, ethics, and journalism are at the forefront in 2025. In the German landscape, we see that a journalist’s competence lies in sensibly intertwining AI into their work without losing their human voice. www.poynter.org/ai-ethics-jo...

In the age of AI sludge, high-quality free content is the best marketing asset. @mimikama.org , an Austrian fact-checking NGO, spent a decade debunking internet fraud and made it totally accessible to everyone. That years-long investment in public service is why their community remains loyal.

We ask ourselves how the creator economy will change in 2026. Despite pessimistic prognosis, we would recommend to focus on independent works and weave community together around it.

Predictions for Journalism 2026: Platforms realize they don’t need journalists www.niemanlab.org/2025/12/plat...

Podcasts belong to real humans and give them the opportunity to produce genuine thoughts, use their own voices, and address real people and raise key issues. How is it possible to wrap up the whole podcast journalism into a delusional machine, driven only by algorithms?

Ingrid Brodnig@brodnig.bsky.social

That’s what we believe in: the work of independent journalism! We support autonomous journalists and create sustainable ecosystem for them. But all that would be impossible without institutions.

Kevin Lerner@klerner.bsky.social

We need great, small, independent journalism. But we also need the big institutions. Because the big institutions are the ones who have the resources to do things like this. www.nytimes.com/2025/12/04/b...

It is a paradox: Your community is willing to pay for your vulnerabilities. @krautreporter.bsky.social, a German media cooperative, has been transparent about their financial struggles since the very first day. That transparency strengthened their community rather than weakened it.
