Got zero sleep having a panic attack all night. This is going to be extremely unfun.

Getting up early tomorrow to get an elective surgery I've been saving up towards for years. It's probably the most in-depth procedure I've ever had done to me, and I'm bad with surgeries and doctors, so please lend me your energy 😱 Will share the results in 9 or 10 months.

I've got three years to wait before I can take the next major step in my career and if im being honest I dont know how I'm supposed to last that long mentally. Rates keep going down and I'm doing my best to find new opportunities, but its looking so, so hard.

I picked up Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous with all its DLC for 12 bucks in an attempt to fill the giant Baldurs Gate 3 shaped hole in my heart. Know for a fact I'm gonna go MIA for days as soon as I crack it open 🀣

Haven't kept up with my Riftwar read-through as much lately. I finished Rise of a Merchant Prince and Rage of a Demon King. First one was lazer focused and really good, some of Feist's best. Second was bombastic and fun, but a bit messy. One more Serpentwar book left, and 12 until the end πŸ˜…

VO friends, looking for an opinion: I have a natural airiness/rasp to my voice that is very pronounced at the end of sentences, to the point where some directors have clients have thought that I was 'putting it on'. This is not the case, it's just how I sound, and it's kind of embarassing. 1/?

We can all feel the mechanics of our throats as we use them, and I do notice that where this rasp begins, so too does what feels like the ceiling of my range, as in I'm liable to voice crack if I make the attempt. I want to be able to break that ceiling and get better control over that airiness 2/?

So all that is to say, what would people reccomend? I was thinking a singing coach might help, but I don't sing nor do I really have the desire to. I just want to have better control over my instrument and raise the ceiling on my range, if possible. What do ya'll think. 3/3

Watched that Masters of the Universe movie and that thing was FIRE bro. I hate giving Jared Leto any kind of kudos but he was so unbelievably entertaining as Skeletor, I didn't know he had it in him. The action rocked too. I feel the same about it that I do towards the DnD movie, it's just so fun.

I'm finally playing Crimson Desert. It is so insane. It has so many disparate ideas and clashing elements. It's tonally inconsistent in both bad and good ways, and the combat is, at best, for spectacle. But I can't stop myself from being utterly immersed. It's so cozy and utterly gorgeous.

Octopath Traveller 0 done. My favorite turn based JRPG I've played in a decade, and my top 1 OT game. The more linear narrative structure leads to a way smoother power curve. It's always drip feeding you new toys as well. The 8 man party also encourages tons of experimentation. Love it. 9/10
