New Super Free Play Prologue build should be live today Lots of performance improvements but the obvious change is we redid the Coop camera system to use a dynamic Split Screen (like the Lego games use). This has really made playing together way more fun! #gamedev #gaming #gamingsky

I have to give it extra points for the creative kills and camera work that work really well with the 3D medium. So far this is our best Jason too - who is a fast moving brutish hulk. They amp up the gore and violence (which was the style for Horror movies at the time). It works really well (and that is what I am scoring here) Side Note: for the first time I watched the TV cut tonight. The extended scenes giving the characters more talking time just made the movie longer not better. You needed them though because all the blood, gore and even some kills were removed from

It starts strong then dials back to let you ramp back up for the climax. Michael Myers is a frightening movie monster being mute, slow and faceless. I watched the TV cut tonight which I wouldn't say is better with the added scenes which do build out the lore for the Thorn timeline to better link it to Halloween 2, but sadly messes with the perfect pacing of the theatrical cut. I dunno how many people are still rocking Nyko charge blocks but I use 4 for my #XBOX in the living room. Anyway on the new #XBOX25 controller they have removed the accessory port on the bottom which is what the charge block would use to line up the charge pins on battery ⤵️

Thankfully I use PowerA batteries now (since they had #XBOX Series X battery doors) and those batteries have the charge pads on the battery recessed in grooves so you can clip the nubs safely on the Nyko block and the controller will still rest in the right spot on the charger!

The mainline Michael Myers movies are awesome but this is really different with some science fiction, some gore, a bit of a mystery, I really love this movie. The music and tone have that classic Carpenter feel. It feels like one of his films without him in the directors chair (more so than the other Halloween movies after him). This movie hits the same beats but is a much better put together film that plays things a bit more cold and serious. Largo is a great Bond villain and there is a ton of underwater action in this film (which gives it a pretty unique change of pace for the franchise). The Blu-ray is great and the sound mix decent. All the Connery films in 4K have been a treat (with the exception of Dr No)

The movie holds up I am just not sure it sits comfortably with the other more grounded in reality Bond movies as it gets so silly the plot devolves into a laser space battle. New part in place! This uses pegs and a rotating hinge to fold out so it all collapses for a much more snug shoulder. No ratchet joint but the friction joint does fine and still has the full range of motion! #transformers #toys #toysky

I didn't recognize him at first but Robert Shaw is an excellent Bond Villain in this film. This one has some gadgets but they are not too fantastical yet. Everything feels pretty grounded. I appreciated the runtime being under 2 hours and everything moved at a good pace. 4K release is sharp and the sound mix was decent in Atmos
