The thing about RFK Jr is that he’s not just a eugenicist who peddles extreme and dangerous anti-science, anti-vaccine conspiracy theories that cause suffering, pain, and death, but he’s also a vile racist piece of s**t

The Bulwark@thebulwark.com

RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

Today's post about a congressman threatening his challenger. Derrick Van Orden is running an ad where he takes a handgun and claims he fought radicals overseas and now his opponent is a radical socialist. Opponent: Rebecca Cooke. He was at Jan 6

There is a campaign ad playing in Wisconsin to support Derrick Van Orden. It takes place in a bar with a conversation between the bar tender, a retired cop, and a farmer. The bar tender complains about having to pull extra shifts because the challenger doesn't support "no taxes on tips"?

The retired cop gets angry because Rebecca Cooke criticizes the use of excessive force. The farmer complains about estate taxes and with a laugh he states "sometimes she is asking for a bullet." Somehow this has been playing for 3 weeks.

I'm going to repeat this every day for as long as it is being played. There is a campaign ad in Wisconsin for Derrick Van Orden, a person states (while laughing) that Rebecca Cooke is asking for a bullet. A standing congressman is okay threatening violence against his opponent.

There is an ad playing in support for Derrick Van Orden with 2 guys in a bar. (It's in Wisconsin) The retired cop angrily complains about Rebecca Cooke questioning about the use of excessive force and the farmer states that maybe she will "catch a bullet." That's some sick shit.

There is a campaign ad for Derrick Van Orden running in Wisconsin, with a retired cop complaining about Rebecca Cooke criticizing police using excessive force. I think the retired cop sitting in a bar angrily says something about her catching a bullet. I might be wrong, because my hearing sucks.

... Black Women athletes are being harassed and targeted the most with the fake "Transgender Replacement in Sports" narrative. Educated Black Women are called men (Michelle Obama). And now Muslim Black Women are being targeted Who knew this would happen 😒😒😒

Lord knows I don't want Palestinians killed... ...but I don't want Israelis killed either. But we need to remember on this day of all days that it was Hamas who started this current war. Hamas. Stop pretending they are freedom fighters. Stop pretending 10/7 never happened. Stop hating on Jews.

Too much excitement this morning. I was driving into work when I saw a dead deer taking up have of my lane. I had 3 choices. Hit the deer and likely total my car. Swerve around the deer and crash into a semi in the other lane. Shoot the gap. Shot the gap.

The people talking about the dignity of being, say, a welder, have never welded anything. And as far as “the pay is actually good” arguments go, the starting pay is good. The pay a few years in is good. But there’s a ceiling and it hits at about the same time the physical toll of the job does

This is my observations on trump's executive order on meat processing. There might be expansion of Biden's programs funding for smaller meat processing facilities. More responsibility for inspections will be pushed on to individual states. This will be similar to the federal aid to schools

This will increase variability in food safety levels. There will be even less enforcement of workplace safety. As Upton Sinclair described in The Jungle, management always pushed to increase line speed. Workers and food safety suffered.

In other concerns, there is pressure to reduce strict food safety regulations. The most common reason for food recalls is exposure to common allergens. Expect the risks of exposure to allergens to increase. Increased protections for corporations, increase risks for individuals.

And they attacked the victim and very likely her family.

I mean he confessed to it and the local church and his family deny it…they are predators too every single one of them. The entire community is sick as fuck for allowing ANY defense of that evil pedophile

Every week or two I travel between our office and other facilities. About halfway between I usually stop and get a sandwich at a nice deli. The server is a millennial that isn't chatty, and I'm fine with that partially because my hearing sucks. Today she remembered my name, so that was nice.

Last night during the football game there was a commercial from some medical corporation about treating childhood cancer. It featured a girl fighting a computer generated monster. I was a bit uneasy when she stamped her face with a blue handprint.

Just like Paul Ryan, who paid his college tuition with survivor's benefits and worked tirelessly during his time in government to make sure that nobody else could receive help in their time of need.

Yes I know no one in the administration has ever thought this escalation of economic actions against Iran means. I really don't think the public wants our Marines seizing ships. Other nations will not accept our Navy sinking their ships. The collapse of our nation disgusts me.
