1/11 We just avoided a major climate policy backlash that could have pushed the Amazon closer to irreversible collapse and made global warming far harder to slow. Lula’s victory matters far beyond Brazil. What was at stake? A forest that helps regulate the climate we all depend on. 👇

Kangaroos use their tail as a third leg. On a remote beach a long way south of Sydney, wild kangaroos were happily grazing. Quietly I sat down near them. Gradually, they began to trust me. A mummy kangaroo hopped right in front of me to show me her baby which clumsily flopped out of her pouch.

My thoughts. To quote Geniuses, “There are too many people making too many problems.” Instead of division and discord, we should be coming together to find solutions to the issues facing society today. We need unity, common sense and cooperation, not polarising politics that drive us further apart.

Can anyone help out Inara work out what this stone is? I don't know, but the patterned scorring on it doesn't look like it was made by humans. I would suggest it's a fossil, but I'm not sure what of?

Inara Tabir@galaxisgal.wsocial.eu

I found this stone today in Spain. Someone help me figure out what it is.

Some idiot just did a what's the worst emoji post, so to counterpoint that with positivity, what's your favourite emoji? Me? Obviously 🦦

Might've just encountered the most pointless emoji in existence. Fishcake Swirl. Really? When there isn't a thank you or sorry emoji? Who would ever use it? I even refuse to use it for this post. Nominate your most pointless or annoying or disliked emoji...

PART 2 …Henry Pantie, whilst two other Henrys—Jones and Dyer—attempted to pull them apart. Several more Henrys—Smith, Calderwood and Andrews—became involved and soon the entire convention descended into a giant fist fight. The brawl was eventually broken up by riot police, led by a man named Shane.

Steve, what did you do this summer? - I went on a long, brilliant holiday I will never forget. Where did you go? - W.

Why do you call your cat Pope John Paul II? - He's a keeper.

Love how the cat turns tail and casually walks off after every save. A dog would be like, “Again! Again!” Meanwhile, the cat’s like, “Whatever, dude. I’ve got places to be.”
