Another story impossible to imagine in any other administration: the president's son goes hunting with a Russian criminal who is part of Putin's security entourage

Pride was born as a riot, and has always been an act of defiance. During my life, I survived an internment camp. I came out at 68. I've watched rights get won and now watch them being rolled back. Yet I'm still here, still proud, and still holding Brad's hand.

Not in the Epstein files: Barack Obama. Joe Biden. Kamala Harris. Hunter Biden. Any of Biden's cabinet officials. Any of Barack Obama's cabinet officials.

In October Anna-Lena von Hodenberg received the award Bundesverdienstkreuz by the German Bundespräsident Steinmeier for their exceptional work against hate speech and pro democracy .. Values the US also held dear until recently.

As a Quaker organization, we abhor all violence because we believe every person has sacred worth. We are deeply disturbed by the wanton, unrestrained violence we are seeing this administration carry out - both at home and abroad. Thank you, Sen. Murphy, for sounding the alarm.

Chris Murphy@chrismurphyct.bsky.social

What we are watching - as U.S. citizens are dragged out of cars and illegal war is waged in the Caribbean - is the corruption of the most sacred power we give the President - the power of violence. We are no longer a democracy if the regime can use violence without restraint.

Usually the government speaks for the people they represent, especially in a democracy.

All across Europe, as well as in Japan, Korea and Taiwan, US allies are reading Trump's national security strategy and realizing that it was authored by people who view them as enemies while idolizing Vladimir Putin and plagiarizing from his recent speeches.

When exactly does that start to trickle down, Mr. Reagan?

Robert Reich@rbreich.bsky.social

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion. The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion. Read that back. When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

We are alarmed by reports that Germany is on the verge of a catastrophic about-face, reversing its longstanding and principled opposition to the EU’s Chat Control proposal which, if passed, could spell the end of the right to privacy in Europe. signal.org/blog/pdfs/ge...
