More civilians were killed and injured in Ukraine by Russia in May than in any other month in the past four years, the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine. Russia is a terrorist state, still hoping to bomb Ukraine into submission. It didn't work before, and it won't work now.

Republicans have managed to do something Democrats have been struggling to do for decades: Get everyday people off the couch and into the streets. My wife and I went to a No Kings in a deeply red town a few miles away. There were 2,000 people lining the streets and peacefully protesting.

Just finished Yume Kitasei’s “The Deep Sky.” 👍 It’s mostly a hard science murder mystery, sort of a Nancy Drew in space told by characters whose brains haven’t fully matured. Anyhow, I’ll never be able to look at teenage girls in quite the same way. (And I don’t mean anything creepy here.) 🥸

This was Biden's big failure. We did our part, the voters, we gave the Dems four full years to close the door on autocracy, they naively thought they could do it by demonstrating how nice it was to have a democracy. Imagine FDR with a similar response to the attack on Pearl Harbor.

100% correct. We must ask Trump voters to repudiate Trump while forcing them acknowledging their part in bringing him to power. If we can’t find a way to square this circle, we always will be one election cycle away from another MAGA administration.
