Retro gamer and Atari fan. The Jaguar is the best console ever made, and the Falcon is the best home computer.😁 Also own and enjoy Commodore, Acorn and other great retro stuff.

Anyone who says the BBC no longer makes good programmes, or says the TV licence is not good value at £15 a month needs to watch Stag. We get so much brilliant TV and radio from the BBC that a lot of us have forgotten just how lucky we are. www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b072nvf3

All mergers and acquisitions should be outlawed. I think it's one of the reasons people remember the 80s fondly even though the 80s objectively sucked, but by god were you spoilt for choice as a consumer back then.

Esther Rantzen has died.😢 It's so sad that she couldn't choose to end her life before the pain and suffering got too much. She did so much during her life for many brilliant causes, not least Childline. Childline has helped over 4 million children and young people since its launUch 1986. ❤️

Was walking past this building and through the window saw this backrooms-ass room, so I accidentally took the coolest picture ever due to the window's reflection

There is ZERO chance this could have happened accidentally. And by zero I mean that the odds are so fantastically small that they equate to zero. This should worry every single person on the planet. He can target projectiles at the Moon. www.newscientist.com/article/2583...

first roadrunner on the deck this season the nesting doves were cheeping angrily at it and it was occasionally squawking back. (roadrunner calls sound like an old nokia phone on vibrate) terrible light, i know

I must admit I did not really like Pac-Man. But with modern eyes, I can appreciate just how genius it was at the time. It's brilliant in ways I never appreciated until a few years ago.

Right, I've never made a game in my life, but I want to make something for the Atari Jaguar (and not a lazy 68k thing). Any pointers for getting started? (This may be the start of my first complicated hobby as an adult).

There seems to be loads of people who used to post on Bluesky and no longer do. It's such a shame, and I blame myself for neglecting Bluesky so much )I also didn't do any social media, btw). I hereby commit to checking Bluesky at least once a day and posting interesting things when I find them.

I took this in January with my Google Pixel 9 Pro XL phone. It basically lied to me and recorded impossible photos. All the photos I took at the time are similarly ruined. FFS!!!

As someone with ADHD, I therefore tend to 'occasionally' procrastinate. To the point where if there was a world championship in procrastination, I might get round to taking part at some point in the future. Anyway, I bought a Bambu Lab P1S and AMS 18 months ago. OMG IT'S AWESOME!!!

This should have been a really interesting photo as there were 20-50 bumblebees flying in and out of the holes in the building's mortar. I can only assume that Android's AI removed them all thinking they were 'noise'. I wish I'd taken a video instead.

I very seldom recommend products, but a few weeks ago I was at my son's two hour long chess club, and my headphones were completely dead. So I searched for a small power bank and found Pulse, so I ordered a £14 imperfect. It arrived 100% perfect. www.getyourpulse.co.uk/products/imp...

I don't think it's worth the £24 they charge normally, but £14 for a keyring (albeit large keyring accessory) power bank seems about right. I bought another for my wife, too.
