Game 23: Ace Combat 4 - Shattered Skies This was my first experience with an Ace Combat game and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it. The controls were hard to understand but that just made me like it more. 6.5 hours

it cannot actually be ignored or danced around that the closure of BioWare came so soon after the Saudi and Jared Kushner acquisition of EA. they absolutely did take the studio making EA’s broadly queerest games out back and shoot it old yeller style. do not let yourself or colleagues ignore that

Game 22: The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds I forgot how much I love Zelda man. I REALLY enjoyed my time with this. While the world building doesn't hold the same magic it used to in these pre-BoTW Zelda games, I was captivated. It even had a twist that surprised me in the end! 13 hours

I've been thinking a lot about how I feel like I've missed out on some key experiences in video games outside of just playing the games. So I decided to write about it! It's free on Patreon so give it a read an tell me your thoughts! Check it out here ⬇️⬇️⬇️ www.patreon.com/stillloading...

If you were ever targeted by the Gamergate horde from 2024 onward, I'd love to talk to you briefly for a short section in my book! Reply, DM me, or email me at alyssamerc@gmail.com. Signal boost!!

Been trying to write more. Not necessarily game reviews but more personal pieces centered around video games and my experiences with games. Wrote a piece tonight I really like but I'll come back to it tomorrow to re-read and put some tweaks on it. Hope you all will like it!
