The most radical thing you can do this week is go & sign up to your local public library. Budgets are being cut but libraries a a force of good for so many people. Including you. FREE BOOKS DAMMIT! #SaveLibraries #books #booksky #libraries

I have a sneaking suspicion that the Oakland, San Francisco, and San Jose libraries all disposed of their copies of Florence Engel Randall's 1976 novel A Watcher In The Woods

OJ's original plan for "If I Did It" was to spin off to a series of books about how he would have done the Zodiac killings, the Oklahoma City Bombing, 9/11. just a man sharing his approach to all sorts of problems

chrome says it's 504 mb on my windows computer but it installs an ai model into AppData that's 4gb in size. Incredible.

The Golden State Valkyries won 68 to 64 against the Atlanta Dream on Saturday afternoon during Game 1 of the WNBA Finals. The game took place in San Francisco, at the Valkyries' home, Chase Center, which the team and fans refer to as "Ballhalla." nbcbay.com/9whQqgo

the internet is so inundated these days that periodically if I realize something has become lost media that I have to weigh whether or not it's worth it to try and find.

sitting there with a decision tree of scales wondering if it's worth it to try and overcome the signal to noise to reach out to see if anyone has a piece of media that's lost, then weighing the consequences of the attention vs (potentially) the desire of the artist to be forgotten, etc

I get the wrong impression from billy bob thorton's wikipedia picture, like, he looks like he is about to tell me some develishly good details about a conspiracy of sorts. like he's about to curse the sutro baths. He's about to be a wise but slightly malevolent force in a 1960's or 1970s film
