Important to tone police a guy saying a restaurant known for cheesy decor has cheesy decor and not the guy saying you probably don’t know the word dumb ends in a b.

I think part of musk’s deal is he gets a real kick out of making life-or-death decisions with a computer.

Three-byline alert: 🚨 ā€œ.. Last week, Musk capped the speeds at which Ukrainian hardware could stay connected to the satellite-based network .. .. One of the people also claimed Musk and Trump discussed the matter prior to the decision ..ā€ @wsj.com www.wsj.com/world/ukrain...

I gotta say that I don’t quite understand setting fire to government buildings as a way to protest the poor conditions in government schools. I suppose i also don’t get setting bars and shops of fire to protest this either. Then again, maybe being french sucks more than i’ve been lead to believe.

imagining trump getting jailed due to tree law like getting capone on tax evasion changes.

Will Stancil@whstancil.bsky.social

I dont understand WHY this is happening. Why is Trump determined to cut down a bunch of trees?

Little know American football in Britain facts: - a touchdown is called a sixer - d-line is called d-queue - a field goal also triggers an extra point attempt - uses meters instead of yards - "down" as in "first down" is spelled D-O-W-N-E

RECORD ALERT: with that TD, Trevor Lawrence surpassed Blake Bortles for most total touchdown passes thrown in UK games by any NFL quarterback. started the day trailing by one.

anyone got a woke script for a leisure suit larry movie they can put in front of this man?

i got so many people calling this tweet fakeposting back when i made it but since this is bluesky and things have less reach on here im just going to post the photo

Iā€˜m not quite the conspiracy type, but I would bet that the govt would happily use this as an excuse to further restrict the number of visas they grant.

This man seems the clearest embodiment of the word "schlub" one could imagine. Even his pfp looks like he’s just taken a slight pause between bags of layā€˜s.

i've identified the Dockers store where Michael Tracy bought and then subsequently returned these pants after wearing them. i will be pursuing criminal prosecution.

MIT dissolved its Department of Food Science in the late 80s. Imagine what could have been. If the Cold War had gone on a little longer, they’d have probably created Baja Blast a full decade before the private sector had.

The money pit restaurant I would open as a billionaire would be the opposite of farm to table. What are the most unnatural flavors possible? Hiring top food scientists, giving a blank check and telling them to really explore the dark corners of the flavor latent space. I want to taste eternity.

Maybe they can make you use the term, but they can’t prevent you from rolling your eyes and making the biggest wanking gesture possible while saying it.

lot of ā€œTHIS JOB WILL BE DISPLACED BY AIā€ stuff doesn’t answer the question of ā€œwho has legal liability if a mistake is made?ā€ Google is gonna be liable? OpenAI? If that’s your answer then yeah but a lot of human industry is buttressed by ā€œwho gets suedā€ when a mistake is made.

Politics island is outnumbered by the hostile mainland that oppose our way of life. A nuclear deterrent is necessary.

I hardly think there is any memorial to the holocaust more proportionate than the Stolpersteine, a constant reminder that victims were not in far off places or from specific districts, but were neighbors everywhere throughout Germany before they were disappeared.

StevešŸ“@strofo-socl.bsky.social

AfD and CDU politicians in a town in Saxony have forbidden the laying of Stolpersteine, bronze paving stone memorials to abducted and murdered holocaust victims, arguing that they are "disproportionate."

It is also upsetting to see a supposedly center-right party (that of the current chancellor) push this together with the AfD to support their efforts to blur out the history of naziism.
