And then you resolve that and get a "well akshualy your imports also have to use specific file endings which might not even exist due to how you added the dependencies". Every other website about how to solve your problem tells you to do it by using node and your own server.

I do wonder if "we have no moat" ever registered with any C-level executive to a meaningful degree. If you use the slopper for a big chunk of your million dollar business, how do you act all suprised when people just use the slopper themselves instead of giving you money?

One of the advantages you would have is something like skill, but there is not really that much skill involved in slopping, at least not to the degree that you can't automate the slop machine by adding another layer on top that tunes some hyperparameter or some AI agent that does whatever.

More games should have flat color backgrounds in their promo material. I really wanted to have more action like the donut county characters but after fighting with affinity about masking (I forgot to deselect something on a pixel layer) I was not in the mood to make some some fine cutouts.

Bluesky's new link feature seemingly blocking links when they lead to websites with adult content is kinda hilarious. Like, are we gonna block bluseky links too then? Because I have seen quite the amount of adult content on here (mostly because I went looking for it)

People should not be allowed to manage memory by hand is my take on all of this. Memory should be an ephemeral being that exists on some abstract layer, and the moment you try to manage it yourself, you get banned from using a computer.

I say this as someone who, the last time that I used C in a project, forgot to correctly free some memory and wondered why my small game-tree was suddenly using 4 GB of RAM.
